Baby Boy Ultrasound

We went to our 20 week ultrasound visit today and got some pictures and video of the baby. It was pretty neat, other than the baby would not stretch out or give us a profile view. He was pretty scrunched up and made it kind of difficult to get any good pictures. These are what we got and everything looks good from what they can see. I am right on schedule for delivery on August 14th.
Cayman seems to be doing better these last few days with the thought of having a baby. She will ask to see him and I will lift up my shirt and she will rub my tummy or talk or sing to him. It is pretty cute. She is still having a hard time having to share her crib or carseat or anything I say we are using for the new baby. We will have to work on that.
Have fun looking at the sneak peak!

Up the nose?

Okay, Cayman has been having a runny nose for the last couple days. Today, her nose started bleeding and I thought that was weird because she has never had a bloody nose. I had her lay her head back and we just rested for a minute. Then Grandma Vincent says" July, there is something up her nose." I go and look and sure enough, out at the very end of her nose comes this lime green hard bead. I have no idea what it is from, or where Cayman got it, but why did she stick it up her nose? I asked her and she had no reply. Go figure. Here are the pictures and the mystery bead. What next? She sure is mischevious!

IceSkating!

I know I should have done the post earlier with this one but oh well. You get to be excited by two new entries! Don't forget to read the one below this!
Tonight for family home evening we took Cayman to the rec center to go ice skating. She was very excited to be like Minnie Mouse in Once upon a Christmas, where she does an ice skating recital. Very Cute. Cayman walked perfectly on the skates even though they were a bit big. She didn't do too well when Cory got her on the ice. She loved it though. We made it about a half and hour. Cayman really could not even stand on the ice. She was so cute and little. We will have to bring her again soon. I know she loved it. I am posting pics and a video.

I also have a little video of Cayman in the shower. She loves to take showers and she sure does sing her little heart out in there. She could stay in there for hours and just squeegee off the glass and sing. It is so cute.

Antelope Island!

My dad came to visit this weekend and we thought we would go to Antelope Island since him and Carma have never been. Cayman loved it last year when we went out there and so we decided to make it a go! We went with Alli and Paul, Dad, Carma and Miquel, and Our family. We took kites and packed a picnic. Off we went! Cayman is really into seeing moose...except that they are buffalo. There is this huge, ceramic statue buffalo we pass on 500 south almost everyday when we go into town and she loves to watch for her "moose." As we got out to Antelope Island, there at the entrance is a "moose" statue. Cayman was so excited and wanted to get out to see. We couldn't yet because it is on the other side and you can get out on the way out of the park. We kept driving and luckily, up a little ways on a look out spot there was another "moose". We let her get out and get on top of it to get a picture. It said not to touch be who are we to disappoint our little girl. She was so happy.

When we really did stop and look at some real buffalo, Cayman said can I ride the moose please? I said no way, then she says can I pet it? I said, no...these are mean and we can't get close to them. She loved to look out the window and spot them.
We saw alot of buffalo that afternoon and other than those, we really didn't see much except birds. Not even antelope.
We went up to the ranch and walked around, we brought out our picnic to eat and our kites to fly but it was so dang windy, we only ate our lunch really fast. The wind was out of control. It was still fun though. As we went through some of the old buildings, Cayman found a spinning wheel like the one in Sleeping Beauty. She said look mommy, then stuck her finger out to touch the spindle, I said no, don't touch it...she touched it and pretended to be Aurora! She loves that show and always acts out that she pricked her finger and falls to the floor. We have to kiss her to wake her up. What a little pretender we have! It is so cute.
We had a pretty fun afternoon and then we got home and took a little nap. It was fun to see my family.
I am 19 weeks pregnant and have gained 4 pounds since I found out. I took a picture of myself to see the tummy. It is not a great picture and I am fatter than a hippo but what can I say? Hopefully I will lose all the weight and more when I deliver this little baby boy. We got a cute gray and white carseat and we are looking for bedding. I have an appointment next Tuesday and I will post more about the doctors then.

Disney on Ice!

We had a really fun day yesterday as we got to take Cayman to see Disney on Ice. The show had Peter Pan, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, Little Mermaid, and of course, Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, and Goofy. It was a lot of fun to see Caymans face when they all came out. She put both her hands over her mouth and her eyes got really big and she said AHHHH!! It was so cute. It brought tears to my eyes. I love to make her happy. It was a great moment for me. She then asked where is Goofy? 2 seconds later, out he comes and he falls down. Cayman was giggling. So cute. Her favorite was Peter Pan and Ariel. She loves the movies and loves TinkerBell. We dressed her up yesterday in a tutu, wings and crown. She was quite the cute fairy. I curled her hair all pretty and she was just darling. The first thing Cory did was go and get Cayman her popcorn. She loves to eat it and the bowl is so big, but she ate almost half of it. So funny! She puts in her mouth by the handfuls!
The show was great, Cayman clapped and sang and yelled and had a really good time.I am really glad that Cory surprised us with the tickets. Cory does so much and is such a wonderful husband and father. We are very blessed to have him.
After the show we went to Gateway and let her play in the fountains for a little bit. She got drenched with water but luckily I had some clothes in the car for her. It was fun.

We had my 18 week appointment at the doctors and we had another Ultrasound...It is for sure a boy! I will get a cd and pictures in another 3 weeks when I get another ultrasound and they will measure the baby and my tummy. It has been really neat to see the baby every time I have had an appointment. My doctor is great and we can't wait for our baby boy to come. We went to Park City to the outlets to get a few things for the baby. We got some really great deals on clothes and now we have a good start on his wardrobe. I love shopping! I will post more soon!
