Family fun!!

We started last weekend with helping Cayman make a box car for her primary activity of watching a movie at the drive-in. This was way too fun to do! I took Cayman to pick out paper and stickers and then when dad got home they went to work making the car. Can you guess what color it was? Pink and white with princess stickers.
It looked so cute. We got told numerous times that Caymans car was by far the best!! Yay!! She looked so cute sitting in it. What fun!

We also went to the Utah Spring shirts game at the U. It was a lot of fun. We went with Cj and Jackie and Ryan and Amber and their twins. It was a good look at what is to come this summer. Lots of football!! It was a really nice day and the sun was shining. Cayman got a sno-cone and I don't know who liked it more...her or Cooper! He loved it!! We had a fun Saturday!

That night we had a surprise party for Paul's birthday. His suprise party was at Chuck A Rama! Ever since both my grandma and my aunt had a surprise party at Chuck A Rama, Paul has wanted one. So this year, his wish was granted. Alli set it all up and invited everyone.... Paul's entire family, some cousins, aunts, uncles and some of my family were all there to wish him a Happy Birthday. It was a fun night!

Cooper now is crawling all over the place. He pulls himself up to anything he can and most nights when he wakes up this is how we find him....

Not sleeping is one thing that is frustrating me more than anything. 8 months old and he wakes up about 5-10 times a a night. I am so tired most days but I just keep on moving!! Luckily he and Cayman both take naps at the same time for a good hour and a half. It is a nice little break.
Every night we say prayers and this is how Cooper likes to stand next to Cayman's bed. Then we give kisses and say good night. He sure likes his sister!
Cory put Cooper on his bike seat the other day and has been taking him for rides. Cooper loves it. Cayman gets upset that she is too big to fit anymore. Hopefully she will start riding her bike she got for Christmas.

On Saturday we had a BBQ at our house and invited Connie and Grandma and Grandpa Vincent over to eat. It was a nice evening and good food.
Every year on the date of our engagement, Cory will bring me purple tulips just like when he proposed. He asked me to marry him at the top of Ensign Peak and we sadly haven't been back to hike up there again. 6 years later we finally made the hike again!!
We took Cayman and Cooper and it wasn't as bad as I remember the first time. Sure it is really steep, but it was okay. Cayman fell a couple times but did really good. Cooper just loved to be outdoors. It was fun and Cayman got to see where daddy gave mommy her ring.

This picture of Cayman in the clouds is because Grandma Debi is up there with Jesus. Cayman thought this picture was great.
On Sunday we went to Alli and Pauls for a BBQ with our brother Ryan and his friend Ryan. It was fun to see everyone again and to visit and eat. We all wore our Easter outfits and we matched!! Imagine that!! The picture turned out cute though!!

Zoo and Idaho!

We had some really nice days last week and fully took advantage of them. On Wednesday I took the kids to the Tracy Aviary to see the birds and feed the ducks. It was nice outside and we had fun getting out. We fed the ducks which Cayman loves to do.

We saw the the peacocks running around and went inside on building where you can see the ducks walking around up close. Cooper stuck his hand through the gate and a duck pecked at him. It didn't even scare him. He was having fun. After about an hour and a half, Cayman said she was ready to go. On the way out, Cayman colored a picture and hung it on the wall inside the gift store. She loves to color. On Thursday we took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. We asked Candice, Cohen, and Kenzley to come with us.

It was Coopers first time at the zoo and he didn't love it as much as I thought he would. He just loves to be out doing something and loves to be outside. We first watched these little monkeys swinging around the cage. They were very active. Cooper and Cory loved it.

We got to see the new little elephant. It was cute. Then we ate some lunch. We brought a picnic with us and ate outside after we saw some of the animals.

Cayman took such a huge bite of her sandwich I don't know how she swallowed it. We love Peanut butter faces!! It is always fun to eat outside!! We rode the carousel and as always, Cayman picks the peacock to sit in. Strange that she doesn't pick one that moves. Cooper had fun riding his though.

I love this picture how Cooper is standing next to the other two kids like he is so big! Saw the giraffes too! We rode the train and then that ended our day.
It was really nice to be outside in the nice sun and to hang out with Candice and the kids. We will have to do it again soon!! Friday we headed up to Idaho to see my family. For the last 1oo miles all we heard from Cayman was " I want Melanee, I want Melanee to hold me." I promise she did this nonstop. It was the longest car ride ever. She loves her Mel!! We got to my dads and my sister Mel and her husband Phil came and then my brother Ryan also came.

We ate dinner and then dad had a surprise for Cayman.....Princess and the frog princess dresses!! Cayman was in heaven!! I think she tried them on a thousand times. My little poser!!

I wanted to try and go to Mesa Falls the next day and we got up and drove up there but the road was closed. As you can see with all the snow, we didn't make it.
It was very nice outside though and not too cold. We made a stop at warm river where we were able to feed the fish. There were so many fish it was crazy.

They blend into the rocks so well that if you didn't know there were fish there you would miss them. Cayman had so much fun throwing fish food in and seeing them all jump up for it. It was a fun thing to do. We also made a stop at my favorite icecream place in Ashton. It is called the Frostop and I love it!! We had icecream and then Cayman had to play on the bear and pig with grandpa.
Cooper had a turn as well. What fun!!
On the drive back home I got a picture of the Teton Mountains. This is what I used to see out my back window growing up! Nice huh? Anyways, we made a last stop at monkey rock to see the waterfalls.

It was covered in snow in most places so we just skipped a few rocks and then we left. When you think we couldn't do anymore, you're wrong!! We went back to dads had dinner and then dad stayed home with Cooper and Cory and I took Cayman to the sand dunes. We don't need fancy ATV's, dirt bikes or dune buggy's. Nope, just our feet! We had fun climbing up the huge sand piles and racing down. This summer we will go and take sleds. Cayman had lots of fun and I remember how much fun I had many times out there as a kid. I don't know why we have never been out there before now.

It was a good night and nice weather. We had fun and got some cute pics. That ended our weekend in Idaho and then we came home Sunday.
Cayman had ballet pictures the other day and I thought I would give you a sneak peek at her costume!

She looked so cute and just loved getting her make-up on. I also did her hair pretty cute if I say so myself!!
Cooper had to be in a picture with his sister so I got a few of him too!! It's official, we have a crawler now. It is so cute and he gets into everything. We are in trouble!! He loves being able to move! He pulls himself up to things and stands and is quite the busy body.

I am one lucky mom to have such wonderful kids and I enjoy every minute with them. I have a great hubby too that loves his kids just as much as I do and does many things with them. He is great!! Love you babe!
