Princesses and Haircuts!

On Wednesday, Cayman and I went to the Princess Festival in Lindon. We went with our friends Cassie and Miya.
We had a really good time and saw lots of Princess and Princes. I actually won tickets on Tuesday and so instead of paying 30 bucks apiece we got in free. It was a deal that we couldn't pass up. We first saw Jasmine and Aladdin. We went to a couple of booths and looked around. Cayman got a pink flower tiara, pixie dust and a white parcel umbrella. She looked so cute. Our first stop we visited the prince who fitted the girls shoes to see if they were real princesses. They were!! It was so cute and they felt like Cinderella. We got to walk around the property and visit all the princesses we wanted and then we ate our picnic lunch. Our tour didn't start until 3pm and by 3 we had seen all the princess except for Sleeping Beauty. Cassie and I were scorching in the heat and so we decided to do the tour and see Sleeping Beauty but then be done and get some treats. The little girls had so much fun and it was really great. This is a charity for Kenya called Quiet way and this guy and his wife actually built this property for their grandchildren to play in. Afterwards they thought it would be great to use money they raised to help their foundation. This is the couple that own this great castle fairytale land! Here is who we saw!Princess Jasmine and Aladdin.

The girls had fun playing with the cast and playing ring around the rosies.
This is Cassie, Me, Miya and Cayman. Looking pretty good!
I love this cartoon. Cayman fits right in!
Here is Cayman trying on Rapunzels hair. We got to climb this huge tower in the castle and this is where Rapunzel lived.

We went into Snow whites Cottage and here we found some little beds. The girls decided to take a nap. They fit perfectly!
We had a really great time and left with our little princesses happy in their fairytale world!
Later that week Cory and I decided to give Cooper a much needed haircut. Cory got out his clippers and we buzzed the sides of his hair. I trimmed the top and must say that he looks so handsome and much more grown up now. My baby is a boy! Here is before and then the after...

That was only the beginning of the week and now the next post will be on West fest! Stay tuned!

Tuacahn and water!

We made another trip to St. George and had so much fun!! We went to Dixie rock again and hiked around a little bit. Cooper thought it was great to stand and be big! Cayman just loves to explore.

The next day I took the kids downtown and we played on the river walk. I forgot their swim stuff so they go to play in their clothes. I did remember extra clothes just not swimwear. Cooper loved the water coming down and all the rocks and he was just all over the place. He loves the water just like Cayman!

That night we went to see Tarzan at Tuachan. We were very excited this year to be able to take our kids to see a play. It was great! It was supposed to start about 8:30pm but with the wind it was delayed until 9pm. I just thought for sure Cooper would go to sleep but he stayed up the entire time. He was just watching everything and taking it all in. It was neat because they had the actors flying through the air and up above us. Cooper and Cayman were thrilled.

Cayman loved to see Jane and had a really good time. After the play, Cayman and Cory got their picture with Jane, the hottie Tarzan, and Little Tarzan. Cayman was in heaven! It ended pretty late and we got back to the hotel around 1am. It was a late night!
The next day we went to our favorite park in Hidden valley. They have a great playground and awesome little splash pad. We love it and wish we had one in Bountiful. The kids just ran around and played in the water. Cooper had a great time and loved getting wet. Cayman ran around and did whatever she wanted.

We went and ate some not very good food at Pirates Island but we played some very fun arcade games.
Cayman asks to go there so we usually go. It is a fun atmosphere just not great food. Cooper even got to enjoy driving a car game.
We went back to the River Walk and let the kids play in the water some more and this time we had their suits. Cooper loved it again and Cayman found new little friends to play with. I just can't believe how much my kids love the water. We stayed for a little while and enjoyed the nice weather and then got some icecream.

After our little vacation we came home and on Saturday Cayman got invited to her little cousin Cohens Birthday party. We went to Springville and had a good time opening presents, playing and swimming in the pool outside.

Cayman loves her little cousins.
Later that night we went to the Chalk art Festival downtown SLC at the Gateway. We try and go every year and it was fun to walk around and see what drawings they had.
We even got a surprise when Cayman took off running calling out Cinderella's name and giving her a big hug. Cooper and I got a picture with Jack Sparrow the pirate and that was fun. Cayman was too scared of him to get in with us. We then let the kids play in the fountain and once again, the water is a hit! My kids practically lived in the water this week.

My little fishes Nemo and Dori!
Sunday was fathers day and I made french toast and eggs and hashbrowns. We opened the little gifts we got Cory and of course he took them all back except for a white polo shirt. I just am not a good present giver I guess. Oh well. Cory is a great daddy and the best husband ever! He is so good with the kids and they love him to pieces. I am blessed to have found my Prince Charming and that we are able to have a family together.
We had a good fathers day and went to church and then out to Corys grandparents. We had a really fun week!
This last thing is a video of Cayman reciting her poem Little Miss Muffet. She learned it in school and memorized it. She does a great job!
She also started swim lessons this week and her first day they moved her to a level 2 instead of level 1 because she was swimming so well!! I am proud of my little girl. She does swim like a fish!
