Caymans Ballet and school!

Cayman has had a couple big weeks starting with her Ballet Performance at the Bountiful Park. It ended up being so cold. Caymans little nose was so red the whole time. Here she is the day before all dressed up for dance pictures.

We were so very lucky to have Grandpa Jenns come all the way from Idaho and go to dinner with us and then watch Cayman dance.

She was so stinking cute but the minute she was to perform, she just kind of stood there. Oh well, maybe it was stage fright.

We had a great turn out of family with Grandma Connie, Uncle CJ and Aunt Jackie, Baby Jackson, Aunt Alli, and Uncle Paul. It was very fun to see everyone and know how much Cayman is loved. Thanks everyone for coming!! Daddy gave Cayman flowers when it was over and she loved them.
Later that week, Cayman had her end of year preschool program at Orchard Elementary. She has been there for about 4 months and goes 2 days a week for 5 hours. It has been a great help with her speech and she loves to learn. Her teachers are very good with her and always say how great Cayman is doing.

The students all sang the parents some songs and did little movements. Here is Cayman with her very best friend, Gigi. They get along very well. During the singing, Cayman of course did not do anything but really sit there with her arms folded, chomping her gum, or she was bugging poor Gigi. My silly kid. I wish she would have sang. I love it when she does. Here are some of the videos.

Here are our handsome boys. She also got a little book of their work they have been doing the school year. It was so nice to see what they worked on.
She has one more preschool program next week and then she is done with school. I think she will miss it during the summer. She has learned a lot.
Here are few more pics we have taken. Cooper wasn't feeling to good one Sunday and he fell asleep in my arms in this awkward position.

Later he was sleeping in my arms and we both took a nap. I love this little guy. Snuggling with him is my favorite thing. We do it every morning for about an hour before Cayman wakes up. It is great! Our alone time. This is usually how I find him in his crib..
Have I mentioned that Cooper loves to jump. He is such a good little jumper on the tramp. He can jump and even land on his bum. It is so cute to watch and he could stay out there for hours. In fact he had been jumping for about 4 straight hours when we took this video.

Here is a little video.

Cory and I planted our garden this week also. We spent enough money so this garden better grow and give us great flowers. I must say our yard looks spectacular!! Cory does such a great job tending to it. We brought in a pickup load of dirt and filled the 5 flower beds. They all turned out great!!

Wheeler Farm, Race for the Cure, and Lagoon!

We have been doing quite a bit this last couple weeks. We had Grandpa Jenns and Cocoa come for dinner on Sunday with Alli and Paul. We had fun hanging out and talking. Here is Cooper with Gramps! The kids can be funny and here are some silly pictures. Cooper likes this new toy a lot! And they love popcorn!!
Cayman got to bring home a little monkey named Mario from school this last week. Mario got to go everywhere we went so if you see a monkey in these pictures that is him. At the end of the week, Cayman got to write all the fun things she did with her friend Mario.
Cayman had a field trip to Wheeler Farm. We were lucky and the day was so nice. We got to go on a wagon ride around the farm

and we saw lots of animals.

We watched a blacksmith make a little spoon with hot metal. Cooper loved seeing all the animals. I think Cayman just liked playing with her friends. We saw a bunny, goats, cows, horses, pigs and ducks. We got to see where they milk the cows. That was a pretty stinky room! Cooper loved chasing the ducks. He just kept trying to get close to them.

They had fun playing in this old wagon that was there. They could have played for hours. After that we went to Mcdonalds with some friends and had lunch. We had a fun time.
That weekend we ran in Race for the Cure. My sister Mel and hubby Phil came to run also. We met at Alli and Pauls and had pizza and then we made our running shirts. We did pink for the girls and white for the guys. We made a couple mistakes and had to go to the store for more stuff but they ended up pretty good. For a running shirt with our team name, it was great. We decided on Team Boobapalooza. We ran for my mom Debi and her mom Betty Rose or Grandma Mead. Cooper stayed home with Grandma Connie but next year he will come with us. Cayman walked with us on Saturday and she walked the whole mile by herself. We all had good intentions of running the 5k, but settled for walking the 1 mile. Mel and Phil did the 5k and we met them at the finish line. It was fun to run/walk for my mom. I even got to do a shout out over the microphone and yell for my mom, Debi. It was awesome. Everyone could hear we were doing this for her. I always tear up at the starting line and once they say go...I start crying. It is very emotional and very special to me. I will do the 5k next year. Even if I have to walk it!!

Afterwards, we went to Kneaders bakery for breakfast and they were giving out free French toast to all the moms!! Score!! It was the best french toast ever. Yummy!!!
That afternoon we decided to do Lagoon!! Its what fun is! The day was very nice and warm and perfect weather. Cooper was very nonchalant on the rides and even though he isn't smiling in most of these pictures he loved them and asked to go back after every ride.

When he couldn't do the ones that were too big, he sure cried, screamed, and threw a tantrum. He got so upset when Cayman could ride a ride with daddy but he couldn't. It was pretty sad. Poor little man. Cayman had a blast on all the big rides and she loves to go fast and spin.

I love this picture of them. Paul is busting a gut in the seat behind, and it is so funny. Cayman was laughing and squealing the whole time! We had a good little lunch and rode more rides. Phil and Paul kept winning stuffed animals at the games so Cooper got a penguin and Cayman got this duck. It was a fun weekend.
Mothers day we woke up and I was able to stay in bed for a little longer while Cory, Cayman and Cooper made me breakfast. I got Chocolate chip cookies, Froot loop cereal, toast and o.j. They brought it up to me and I ate it on the couch upstairs. The kids took my cookies. But that's okay! We went to church and Cayman sang in sacrament. After that we had dinner at Connies. Everyone came and we had fun eating too much food and visiting. We took a couple pictures of the moms and then one of Grandma with the grand kids. It was a great day. We had a lot of fun and look forward to more to come with the nice weather we should be having.
