Disneyland

We planned a trip to Disneyland last week and right before we planned to leave, my great Aunt Kay passed away. I just had to go up to Idaho and pay my respects to the family. I loved her and her kids are amazing as well. The viewing was on Tuesday night and we had planned to leave for California on Wednesday. I didn't want to put the kids through an 8 hour drive to Idaho then a 12 hour drive to California so they stayed home with Cory and just my sister Alli and I drove up Tuesday. It was nice to see everyone and also a sad night. We left Wednesday morning to head back to Utah and then hurry and packed and we were off to California.   The Hotel we stayed in was an awful place and the next morning our toilet overflowed into the room. We were put in another room but it was so dirty and gross we just couldn't wait to get out of our room. The hotel shuttle to Disneyland didn't even operate during the park hours. It was awful. We ended up paying for parking the last day so we could enjoy our early morning into Disney. The weather was fantastic and it was really nice to be in the sun and warm weather.
Our first stop was California Adventure. Cory ran to get fast passes to Radiator Springs Racing and us kids got to meet Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  So fun!
 Had to go see Mcqueen.
I thought it was funny we were waiting in line and Cooper pointed to this ladies jacket and said "Mom, that is so stupid." He was dead serious and I thought it was hilarious.

 In line at Luigis tires.

Meeting Merida from Brave! Cayman met her twice and the second day Merida said to Cayman I met you yesterday didn't I? Cayman was so happy she remembered her.
 Jasmine and Aladdin.
We decided to watch the parade in Disneyland and while we were waiting the kids played in the firehouse. Cooper loved the firetruck.

The kids eating their suckers during the parade.

Cooper thought the parade was great. You can see how happy he is in his face.  Cayman liked it too just not as smiley as Cooper.

Some pics in Toon Town

Cory makes Cayman do the Tower of Terror with him and she hates it.  Heres a pic.

My yummy grilled cheese and Tomato Bisque soup.

 The kids loved the teacups.

Trying to remove the sword in the stone.

Peter Pan ride.
Dumbo!

Cooper loved this roller coaster in Toon Town. He rode it 7 times one day and 12 the last day we were there. The little workers even announced in the speaker that he was the best roller coaster rider they had had, and Cory was a great dad for taking him so many times. I love his face! He is so happy.

The last day of Disney by the castle!

We had a great time in Disney and a couple long days of happiness. It was a great vacation. We stopped in St. George and let the kids hike Dixie rock before we got on the road again. They had fun.
That Monday, this cute boy, Carter

our adopted Nephew was to be legally placed with my sister Alli and her husband Paul. We were invited to the courthouse to witness this great blessing.  It was so very sweet and emotional. Not a dry eye in there.
That weekend we were able to drive to Logan and witness Carter being sealed to Alli and Paul for time and all eternity. It was an amazing day and we are so lucky to have this little guy in our lives.
