A New Cottrell!

With my last post, I forgot to mention that Cayman and Cooper got a new cousin!
How could I have forgotten such a sweet blessing? Here is his own little post!
Cj and Jackie had Baby Jackson on February 7th. He weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. We went to see them at the hospital and he was so precious!! What a cute little guy. Cayman was excited to hold him and we are so excited to welcome him to the family! Congrats to you C.j. and Jackie!! We love you already Baby Jackson!

Just a little fun...

We have done a few fun things so far this month. We met my brother Ryan and his friend Nic, my sister Alli and brother in law Paul at In and Out for lunch. I hardly ever get to see my brother so this was fun. The next day Cayman and I had a girls night out with my sisters. We met Alli and Melanee at the Fashion Place mall and went shopping. It has been a while since I have done that. It was fun. We then ate at Texas RhodeHouse and had some girl talk! After dinner, we went and got pedicures! That is our favorite thing to do. Cayman seems to like it too!!
The finished product!! Very nice ladies! After our pedicures, we went to my sister Alli's house and had some girl time. We hung out for a while and then Cayman had a sleep over with her aunts. I had to come home as I had to work the next morning. We picked Cayman up later that day and she had such a fun time. It was a nice girls night out!! Since I have had Cooper, I don't get that too much. It was pretty wonderful! Later this week we have been making valentines and we made cookies. Cayman is taking this valentine to school to give her friends and then we made these cookies and put them in a little bag. Very cute!! We gave this Valentine to family! I love my little valentine kids! This last pic is just a fun hairdo I did on Cayman for church. Princess like? I should say so!

Zoo and Birthday

I haven't updated in quite a while. We have just been laying low and staying warm inside. We did however, need to go to the zoo while it was free! We went and had a good time.

The weather was okay and we saw everything we needed to. Cooper loved seeing the monkeys. He was in awe just watching them jump and swing and play. He really liked them. We then rode the carousel and Cayman and Cooper loved it! Cooper was so happy to be on the animal and by himself.

That is just fun to do. We saw lots of tigers while we were there. They were sure out and about and running around and playing. It was awesome. We had a good day at the zoo.

This weekend was Cory's birthday and we went to eat at Chili's and then had family over for cake and ice cream.

I got him a massage seat chair from Brookstone and he better use it!! The kids got him a Jazz shirt. We had fun talking and the kids had fun playing. When I opened the ice cream, this is what I saw. I couldn't resist and then Jackie had to take a picture. We thought we were pretty funny! Ice cream Boobies! Connie then took both kids home to have a sleepover at grandmas. This was Coopers first sleepover and he did okay. We had a good morning sleeping in until 7:30am. Yes, that is sleeping in for me. It was great. We then had to go to Grandpa Vincents 80th party. We had fun seeing everyone and I can't believe this guy is 80. He is sure a cute grandpa!
Here are a few more pics of the kids. Cooper has started cheesing if for the camera and he is so stinking cute!! Enjoy!

Goodbye 2010

Not much has been going on since Christmas and the New year but we did get a picture on New Years eve of Cayman not making it up till midnight. We rented a couple Dvd's and actually watched The Game Plan. We ate pizza and had snacks. We pulled the air mattress downstairs to have a sleep over and that was our night. Here is Cory and I at almost midnight.
We did make a little trip to Kangaroo Zoo a few days before the year ended. We have a punch card and it hasn't seen much use. I wasn't sure that Cooper was going to love the bounce toys because he doesn't like the one grandma has. I was right. He did not want to bounce. Cory took him down some of the slides and he was fine once he went. He did not want to play in the little kids one and just wanted to run around on the floor. Cayman was loving it though. She would run to one bouncy toy to the next and go down. After about an hour, Cooper decided he actually liked being in the bouncy toys. He was loving it! He was going from place to place and running. So Cute. We had fun day out and will go again soon!

Here are a few pics of Cayman and her Dance class. She loves to take ballet and dance all around. We used to be able to watch her dance the first Wednesday of every month, but now it is only 3 times a year. I think it is because they get more done when no one is watching. She was hamming it up the whole time I was there. Cute but very distracted.

These last few pics are of Cooper and his messy face after eating something chocolaty. I still could kiss his cheeks! What a cutie!

Here is Cayman and Daddy getting ready for church.
We have had a great year! We have been to many places like San Francisco, Yosemite, West Yellowstone, Moab, Disney world, Idaho, and St. George to name a few. We like to travel and see what fun things we can do as a family. Cayman started pre-school and we are hoping she learns a lot in the coming years. Cooper has such a cute little personality and is so independent. I can't wait to see what this year brings for us as a family. Good Bye 2010 hello 2011~ We are ready for our next adventure!
