Halloween for 4 days straight!

We started off our Halloween week on Wednesday by having dress up day at Pre-school, Talking Time and ballet. Cayman got to wear her Ariel outfit most of the day. She looked so cute and loved dressing up. The wig did not last long though. It was itchy she said. That night we carved pumpkins as a family and invited Grandma Connie over. She came and took pics of us!

Cayman and I got to clean out the pumpkin guts and Cayman did a really good job.

Cooper did not love touching the pumpkin as much as I thought he would. He did try to eat the guts with this huge spoon though. So funny. Then he had a melt down and was not too happy. Jackie and Cj showed up a little bit later and Jackie got to help Cayman carve her pumpkin. Cory carved 2 pumpkin faces and I carved a U. They turned out really good! Here is the finished product all lit up! Pretty spooky!
The next day we had our ward Trunk or Treat. We got ready for the big night!

I dressed up as a vampire and even got Cory to wear a cape. The family in costume turned out pretty cute. We met at 6:30pm and went crazy. We went from trunk to trunk and got candy and then they had donuts and apple juice. Aunt Alli and Uncle Paul came to see the cute little spooks! Cooper was a monkey and just so dang cute! Cayman was Ariel again and posed her heart out! Here she is with her friend Miya.
We had a lot of fun and the kids got tons of candy. Cooper has decided he loves candy so much!!
He will run to the kitchen, point his finger at his bag and sign "more." He cries when he can't have it. Poor kid huh?
The next day was Friday and us and our friends the Neeley's went to Jackie's work to trick or treat the residents. We went last year and had a lot of fun so we wanted to go again. Cayman dressed up as Rapunzel this time and looked just so pretty! Cooper was still a monkey! The kids once again got lots of candy and then we went to Mcdonalds for lunch.
That night we went to the Rec center to the Spooktacular that they put on every year. We took the kids for the first time and had a lot of fun. Cayman played a lot of games and won prizes.

The highlight was when she saw Cinderella!
It was pretty crowded but it was put together really well. They did a great job and once again we dressed up. Cayman this time was Belle. Cooper was....yes, a monkey!
At the end of the night they got icecream and that made for a happy but messy, Cooper.
Finally, Saturday we went trick or treating in the neighborhood. It was a pretty nice day all up until around 5:30 and it started pouring. We went anyways and did a few houses. Cayman was once again a different princess, this time Tiana getting married. I didn't really get a very good one of her but these will work.

I am pooped out from all the Halloween festivities this year. It was fun and we did get a lot of candy!! Here is our loot!

Cayman turns 4!

Happiest Birthday to our Cayman! She turned 4 on October 21st. Here she is just about a week old and look at her now! I still can't believe how big she is getting. Cayman wanted an Ariel Little mermaid party this year. We had great fun decorating and trying to make it look like the sea. I tried! It turned out really cute.

Here is her Little Mermaid cake.

Cayman was so happy when Aunt Mel and Uncle Phil were here when she woke up. They came from Idaho and surprised her in the morning. Cayman of course, had to have them take her to pre-school. After class, we went to a birthday lunch at Mcdonald's with Aunt Alli and Uncle Paul and Aunt Mel and Uncle Phil. She had a party with her friends in the afternoon and had so much fun. We bought a bubble machine and it was going when her friends came in.They colored pictures of The Little Mermaid, Played pin the Crown on Ariel, made goldfish bowl stickers,
had their toes and fingernails painted and I attempted face painting. With all these fun activities, I couldn't have done it without the help of my sisters Alli and Mel. Thanks so much again for helping me! You guys were lifesavers!
We had all the girls get their pictures taken in a carriage when they walked in and then had the pictures printed for them to take home. Can you find the only boy in here? We opened presents from her friends and family and she got a lot of cute things.

From her friends, A Hello Kitty bank you paint yourself, a game, Strawberry shortcake doll, mini Rapunzel doll, Princess jewelry, a huge princess puzzle. From Alli and Paul she got a Lalaloopsy doll, Mel and Phil gave her a Rapunzel dress and shoes, Grandpa and Cocoa gave her a Rapunzel Barbie doll. Thanks to everyone for the fun gifts! She had lots of fun opening presents then we had cake and icecream

and played in the bounce house. Thanks Grandma for letting us borrow it! Lots of fun! After this fun little party everyone went home and Cory and I spent some time with just the kids. Cooper kept trying to get in this Barbie jeep and would get so mad that he couldn't fit. I love this picture!
We made breakfast for dinner like Cayman wanted and then we got ready for her little family party. We had the Cottrell side over for Cake and ice cream and we opened presents.
Cayman was so excited to see Cohen and we had fun playing and visiting.
She got barbie clothes from the Jackmans, A Rapunzel doll from Cj and Jackie, and Grandma Connie got her a beautiful dress and shoes. From us she got a Belle Barbie doll, Belle dress, Ken doll, book, Magnet dolls, Zhu Zhu pet hamster, Beauty and the Beast Dvd, and Ariel pajamas.
She was spoiled by everyone! Thanks for her great gifts!! We turned on the bubble machine again and the kids played and danced in the bubbles.
I love this picture of Cayman and Cohen playing barbie dolls. So cute!
Cayman had such a great birthday and it was made possible by all the love from our families and friends. She has such a big heart and is more than willing to share her love around with everyone! What a great day and here is to another year!
