The Zoo!

We have finally had some pretty nice days and on Friday, Cayman and I decided to call Candice and Cohen and see if they wanted to go to the zoo! They came with us and we had a really good time. We went to the zoo about 10 times last year and this year I think that a season pass is calling our names. It is a great way to spend a couple hours just pack a picnic and head out. Connie gave us all a cooler for Christmas and it was just really funny to Candice and I that we both brought our Coolers and thought Connie would like a picture of us with them. They are in the bottom of the strollers! Thanks for a great gift!
We had a lot of fun, Cayman loves to see the animals, I think she like the snakes best this time. We had fun riding the Carousel.
It was great!

Saturday we had Connie watch Cayman and Cory and I went to the movies with Alli and Paul. Us girls went to Shopaholic and the boys to see Gran Torino. It was definitely a fun movie for me. I have read all the books and was dying for the movie to come out. Don't be too disappointed when you see the movie. It was nothing like the book. But it was a really cute show. It was fun.
Sunday my dad and Carma came over to visit for a little bit. Alli and Paul came over too and we BBQ'ed for lunch. It was fun to see Cayman playing with everyone.
Cory got Guitar Hero for his birthday with everything he took back and it is so fun to play. We are loving it! It is what we do when Cayman goes to bed a night. I love it. When we pull out the guitars, Cayman will say : "You rockin it?" It is so cute! She is funny.
Monday we went to crown burger with Cj and Jackie and I thought Cayman was going to die from happiness...she was jumping up and down on the chair pointing outside and saying, "see, see.." I was like see what? She says " Princesses!" Crown. AHhhhh!"
It was so funny to see how excited she was that she saw a crown and thats what her princess wear. Too Cute. Cayman went back to our house with CJ and Jackie. They watched her so Cory and I could go to the Jazz game. It was really fun. I don't know how this happens but it seems like I get so tired around the 3 quarter that I literally fall asleep and Cory says we can go if you want. I feel so bad. How can I sleep at a basketball game? I guess being pregnant can make you do crazy things. It was fun while we were there.
Today it looked like a nice day so I took Cayman outside to play. We were just enjoying the weather when it started raining. Don't you worry...Cayman ran into the garage and grabbed our umbrella and was ready for it.
It was just a little sprinkling and then it was over. I am so ready for spring! I love to be outside!
So does Cayman.
We are still trying the potty training thing and Cayman is doing much better. She has gone at least 5 times a day on the potty and even at Crown Burger she told me she needed to go potty. Sure enough she sat on the big potty and went. What a big girl and proud momma I was. It is a slow process but is so worth it. Cayman is doing a great job.

Happy Valentines Day

We started Valentines Day yesterday and Cayman and I made heart sugar cookies to take to some neighbors. Cayman had fun putting the sprinkles on and eating the frosting.

Then next morning Cayman woke up and Cory was really excited to give her his present. He picked her out a princess outfit and some shoes. Cayman is in love with the Disney Princess's and she always wants to dance and sing and she pretends she is asleep so we have to kiss her and wake her up. Cayman was so excited to see the dress and shoes. She had to put it right on over her jammies. I didn't get too many good pictures because she was too occupied with her beautiful dress. It has an Aurora brooch on the middle of the dress and Cayman was loving looking at it. It was so cute. She has been wearing it all day. She has been dancing in it and twirling and having fun being a princess.
The dress must be a little itchy and thats why it looks like she is trying to get it off. We finally put a white shirt under it for her to wear. I got her the Little Mermaid Dvd and we have been watching that today too. She was just so happy to get her gifts.
Cory gave me my gift yesterday and it was tickets to Disney on Ice. I will get to take Cayman and Cory is coming of course. I am so excited because Cayman had such a great time last time we went and this time we are going with CJ and Jackie and it should be lots of fun. I must say that I do think of Cayman with almost everything we do and if she could come and what would make her happy. I live my life for her and pretty soon it will be for another little one. We went to the doctors for my 14 week check up and he decided to do and ultrasound for fun to just see if he could see anything on the sex of the baby. It was without a doubt in my mind when the baby moved it's little legs that there was Cory's son! This picture is just of the baby laying sideways. You can see his eyes and nose and body and two arms. The arrow is pointing at his face. Cory has been hoping that this little one would be a boy and when the doctor said he was pretty sure it was a boy, Cory could not stop grinning. He was so happy. We will go back in 4 weeks and just double check that it is a boy, but I am pretty sure and the doctors pretty sure it's a boy. Happy Valentines day Cory! I know this is the best gift ever! We now just need to agree on a boy's name. I want Jackson,Colton or Canyon but Cory wants Carter or Cooper. He said maybe on Colton. I guess we have a while to decide. I will post more later.

My little girl!

We had Cory's b-day and as I thought.... he only liked one of his gifts. A Utah Ute hat. Oh, well I thought I had done a good job this year. Better luck next time. We had family over for cake and icecream and then that ended his b-day party. Cayman was so cute when Cory came home from work she ran into his arms and said Happy Birthday Daddy! It was about the cutest thing ever! What a doll.

Later that week I took Cayman swimming with her cousing Cohen and his mommy Candice. We had a lot of fun. On Sunday was the Super Bowl and we all went out to Connies for dinner and the party. It was fun to have everyone there and we just hung out and ate lots of food. It was a good time.
Cayman has been watching the Disney Princesses and she loves them. She will re-enact scenes and dance and twirl and it is so much fun to watch. I need to get her a princess gown so she can have fun playing dress up. All she has now are some wings and a crown. I made her a wand and these are some pictures I got of her playing outside. It is lots of fun to watch her run around and say I am Tink!

Yesterday I said we need to get breakfast and I must have opened the freezer door and the fridge because the next thing I see is Cayman at the table digging into a carton of Oreo Icecream.
She loved that for breakfast. I guess she got her calcium anyways. It was pretty cute though. My big girl getting her own breakfast!
A little bit later she yelled for me to come see... she had found some yellow crepe paper streamers and had them hanging from the banister and all over the floor. I have no idea where she found it at but she sure was proud she had.
We are going to Idaho today and it should be good for Cayman to see her Grandpa Jenns and Cocoa, Mel, Phil, Ryan, Alli and Paul. I will write more later!
