Leaves, food and horses!

We went on a scenic drive up through emigration, echo and Ogden. We found lots of pretty colors in the trees, bushes and leaves.

On the way back we saw the waterfall in Ogden canyon and then we went exploring and we found a couple hotpots. It was pretty crazy that there was hot water in the midst of this river. There were people swimming in it and this guy said he comes and soaks in the hotpots all the time. It was just crazy.

We also went to a BBQ at Penny's house, a lady Cory works with. She had a great spread of food and then let the kids ride horses. We saw her turkeys and they were huge. We got to see her ducks and the baby ducks and then Cayman got up and rode the horses. She loves to do this! Since the last time we went to Penny's she has asked repeatedly to go back. What a happy kid.

Cooper got to ride a horse too! He loved it.

He was in awe just staring at the horses and there was a baby horse he just loved too. He would reach his hand out and pet the horse and let the horse sniff his hands. He was so fun to watch. After this, Cory and I went to the Utes game. That is why they are all in their Ute gear.
We had a fun time and hopefully we will be able to have more horsey rides!!
I made these Utah decorations for the ladder I have out front. It turned out pretty cute.
Stay tuned for more posts about San Fransisco!!
