Summer has started!

The last weekend in May we had Caymans 2nd Preschool graduation from Little Learners. She has had so much fun and learning we will be sad to not see Miss Angela. She was a great teacher and Cayman had a great time learning from her. She had a great group of kids in her class and loved them all. They put on a program for us and sang songs, played their recorders, did sign language and received their Alphabet book. It was a fun program and we were glad that Aunt Alli and Paul were able to come along with Grandma Connie.

That weekend we put up the tent in the backyard and had a fire. We had so much fun sleeping outside. The kids thought it was a blast. We pulled out the air mattress and cushions and the kids were pretty cozy. It was great!

We bought a summer pass to the bowling alley for the family this summer and so did our friends. We have been only once so far but it was lots of fun. The kids enjoyed themselves and had fun playing with their friends.

The kids were so cute one afternoon they were getting along great and decided to have their lunch on the trampoline. It was cute.
This is how we have been living most of June. At the splash park in our swimsuits. Love it!!
The airport by our house had open house for you to come look at planes. Our kids were lucky enough to be able to sit in this nice Jet and then to look at the bigger jet inside. It was so fun. Cooper really wanted to go for a ride.

I was able to get a ticket to Princess Amerah's Tea Part for Cayman this last friday. She was so excited to go and see her favorite princess. She got to sit at the table for tea and have fruit and muffins. Princess Amerah came around and poured tea(tang) for all the girls. They danced, sang, and dressed up. It was a great morning for a tea party.

Grandma brought over the bounce house and the kids had a fun night playing in it and eating popsicles.

Cayman has started ice skating with her friend Miya on Mondays. They seem to be having fun.

Cayman and Cooper started swim lessons and are having fun. Cayman goes everyday and Cooper goes twice a week. The days Cooper doesn't get to swim he plays on the rock wall.
We went up to Idaho for my Grandmas 80th birthday party. We went to the carousel in Rexburg and let the kids ride it. It was kind of cold. They had fun with their aunts.

At the party it was fun to see everyone and to visit. We had cake and fruit and then went and ate at Famous Daves. Here is my Aunt Lennie, My Aunt Kathie and their mom, Grandma Betty.

Post and Picture overload for May!!

My family came down and we did the Race for the Cure.

We have been doing this for the last couple years and love it. All of us walked the mile except for Mel and Phil and they ran it. They did great. Cooper wasn't feeling well so he wasnt happy in the pictures. After the race we went to Kneadersvfor for free French toast. The rest of the day we spent at Boondocks in Layton and had a lot of fun.

Cayman had one of her pre-school graduations that we went to and were able to see what she has learned and done in school. The class put on a program with singing and then they received their alphabet book. I am so proud of our little Cayman

We went outside and had a pool party in our backyard when it was so hot and no pools were open yet. The kids had fun getting each other wet and playing with chalk.

The next day Cayman had a field trip with her other  pre-school class to the Hogle Zoo. We had so much fun going with all her friends and Cooper loved it too. We were able to go on the train ride and the carousel and Cayman had a great friend named Silas there. They held hands and did everything together. He is a cute boy.
Here is picture overload of the Zoo!

This is is Caymans class morning and afternoon mixed.
Cayman had her last soccer game of the year and we were able to throw a BBQ for all her soccer buddies and families. We had everyone over after the game and visited, ate and gave them a trophy. It was really fun and Cory was glad to not be coaching anymore

One morning we ate breakfast outside and then went to Liberty park. We let the kids ride the old rides and then Cory rented a paddle boat to go around the lake. It was so fun and the kids were having a blast.  We went and walked around the water park for a little bit and got our feet wet. It is a great park to play at.  After the park we had pizza and the kids got to make their own. So fun!

It is sno cone season and I am so excited!! Here are the happy faces.
The kids made plaster stones to go in the garden this past weekend and they got to make them with water and plaster, paint them, and then put them in the garden. It was very messy but lots of fun.

This past Memorial day Weekend we reserved a cabin in Driggs called the Blue Buffalo Condos and went up on Friday. We were going with Corys family but only Cj and his mom were able to go. We got to Rexburg a bit early so we met up with the family and had lunch then went out to my moms grave and decorated it with patriotic stuff. We met Cj and Connie at Big Juds in Archer to eat dinner with my family. I was surprised when Phil and Cj both took on the Big Jud Challenge. It is eating a 1lb hamburger and bun and then you get your picture on the wall. It was quite entertaining. Cj got a little more than half down and gave up but Phil kept going like it was nothing. He finished it and got his picture taken. That is one big burger. Gross!!

We headed up to the cabin after dinner and unpacked then hit the sack. The next morning we got up and got ready and went into Jackson Hole. We stopped at the Spud drive-in and saw the biggest potato. Of course we had to get pictures.

We had fun sightseeing

and going in the little shops, and the kids were able to make a few crafts.

Cayman made a necklace, a candle and got her face painted. Cooper got his face painted too.
It was not the best weather and then the thunder and lightning started and it was enough to scare the kids silly. It was so loud and echoing in the mountains. Then it started raining. At least we had shops to go in and look at.
. We found one called Teton Toys and oh my, it was the best toy store I have ever seen. It was awesome. The kids loved it and played for a while.

We then went and got some Old time photos taken. It was so much fun. Cooper looked darling as a little cowboy and Cayman looked so cute in her old fashioned clothing. I was an Indian and Cory a Cowboy. So Fun!!

That night we went to the Bar J Wranglers Chuckwagon show. It is a chuck wagon dinner and then a singing show that is put on in this barn. It is lots of fun just the food is not great. We walked around the little trail they had and got some pictures. That was a long day for us.
Sunday we just stayed at the cabin and were lazy. The kids were playing hide and seek with Cj and Cory and this is where Cj put Cooper so Cayman couldn't find him.
It was up so high and Cooper thought so funny.  Cayman walked into the room and Cooper would say something and she would look all over, in the cabinets, around the door but never up. Boy was she surprised. It was funny.
Monday we got up and checked out and headed to Mesa Falls. We stopped and looked at the Lower Mesa Falls and the Upper Mesa Falls.

 It is so pretty.
We had to stop and get lunch at the Frostop and of course get an Ice cream cone. It is famous for the ice cream!  Yummy stuff!
That ended our our vacation for the weekend. We came home and let the kids play at the splash park and then went to bed. We have had a few fun weeks!! Love it!!
