We then went exploring Goblin Valley.
Yes, Cooper had some meltdowns and here he is a very sad boy.
Cory was trying to climb up the highest rocks he could so here he is.
Just some silly pics.
Cooper loved this sand hole. We put out their sand buckets and they went to town playing in the dirt.
That night we went to bed it thundered and lightning for over 3 hours. It was so hot and were just glad it didn't rain. We were woken up later that night by a Kit Fox in our camp. It came back three times. Here we are the next morning.
Daddy and Cooper on an early morning hike.
They are really up so high.
Cayman sleeping.
Beautiful sunrise morning.
Cooper loved to slide down all the rocks and hills. He sure did have a red bum bum when we got home. You can see his little bum trail sliding down.
Here we are at the Valley of Goblins. Enjoy our pics.
But here she is posing waiting for daddy to rescue her.
We drove into Capital Reef National park and hiked around a bit on Saturday and here is a wall of hieroglyphics. Pretty cool.
We stopped and relaxed in some shade and had Icecream.
At an overlook at Capital Reef.
We got back to Goblin Valley and went on a hike through a slot canyon. It was so pretty and the kids had a lot of fun running around and playing hide and go seek with us.
We had fun hiking in the heat and came back and ate dinner. That night we had a major windstorm and rain. We thought our tent was going to blow away with us in it, but we survived and the camp stayed intact.
The last day we had one more hike and play time at the Valley of Goblins. Here are more pics.
Cory on top of one of the highest rocks.
Cory jumping to and from the rocks.
This is our Dinosaur we found. Cooper was making lots of dino noises and had so much fun sitting on this.
Here is our Turtle we found. Fun to explore.
This is our last picture of our trip. Just me and my love! We had fun camping for our first time and we luckily had no problems or mishaps. It was great! We hope to do it again soon.
