Cory and I went on Baja Cruise that left from Long Beach to Ensenada California. We had the kids stay with the neighbors during the day and then Corys mom took them during the night. We left Friday after the kids got out of school. We stopped in Vegas for the night and had dinner at a pizza place we had seen on Diners, drive-ins and Dives called Naked City Pizza. So Good! Then we had to try Carlos Bakery on the strip. We got a few desserts and I was so happy!
We had to get a few pictures of the eiffel tower for Cayman.
The next day we headed to Californian and our port was right by the Queen Mary. We walked around for a little bit and then we were able to board the ship.
Our first stop was Catilina Island in California. Its a very small little quaint town and right off the ocean. It was a lot of fun. We booked a whale watching excursion and had a good time looking for whales and dolphins.
We only saw one whale and it was a baby.
Actually saw it blowing through the blow hole.
The dolphins were amazing. We saw so many of them all around. It was just a beautiful sight.
The dolphins were playing behind the wake of the boat and doing jumps and flips. It was so neat.
We saw sea lions.
And these 2 bald eagles. It was really fun.
The next day we were in Ensenada Mexico. We took a tour to the blow hole also called the La Buefadora. We passed the tuna farms on our bus and it was very interesting.
Here is the blow hole.
We did a little shopping in the market and got Cayman a new dress and Cooper a shirt.
We stopped at the La Pacifica which is one of the first casinos in Ensenada that Al Capone was an owner of. It was neat.
We saw some beautiful sunsets.
We Loved our little towel animals on our bed each night.
We are too cheap to pay for pictures so I did my best at getting pics of pics with my phone.
We sat at a table of other couples each night for dinner and they were a great group of friends for our trip.
We headed back home on Wednesday and were so happy to see the kids. It is always nice to be back home.
