Busy December
I wanted to go back a little and tell you that I took Cayman to the dentist for the first time in November. She did a great job and was very good. They took some x-rays of her teeth and you can see her new teeth beneath her baby teeth. In about 2-3 years they will start coming in. They also cleaned her teeth. She was real good at being very still. What a good experience. Cayman had no cavities and her teeth look great. She got a little goody bag with toothpaste, a toothbrush, floss and some toys in it. How fun. We are doing better at brushing our teeth at night.

Cayman also started Ballet. She is taking classes every Wednesday night at Dancin it up right off of Redwood road by our house. It is a 45 minute class and on the first Wed. of the month we can watch her. The other times I get to drop her off and go do a couple errands. She is loving it so far. I can't wait to see her in January and see what she has learned. The class will go until May. We got to pick out her own outfit and she picked out a princess leotard and tights. We got ballet slippers too. She is so dang cute!

Cory had Shoulder Surgery on his right shoulder the beginning of the month and when the doctor got in to fix him up he noticed that things were worse than the MRI had shown. The original plan was to have him in a sling for 10 days with recovery and therapy for 4-5 weeks. Now, it is a sling for 5 weeks. NO moving of his arm at all. Therapy at the end of 4 weeks where a therapist will move the arm for him and then decide how much motion Cory has and if we can start therapy with Cory moving his own arm.
This is not a fun thing to have done. Cory has missed 2 weeks of work and this has been a really big challenge for me. I have to feed the baby, change the baby, bathe the baby, hold the baby, bathe Cory, cut his food, help him get dressed, and take care of Cayman. Cory can't do anything to help out with the baby at all. He maybe can hold him for a couple minutes. I just want to say that I am feeling sorry for myself but this is taking a toll on me. Cooper is very needy and It is hard for me to hold him all the time. I am so tired, I feel like I have no time to myself and to be a good mom I feel like I need to be able to take a break. It is going to be a long 4 more weeks. Having one arm is not easy. I know Cory is frustrated with not being able to help do anything and to be stuck in a sling is no fun. He usually does so much and is so wonderful with the kids. I miss him helping me so I didn't feel so alone.I am lucky to have Cory be such a wonderful husband and father I can't wait to get him back. We will get through this but I may be crazy in the end! AHHHHH!!!! Cayman got have some fun though. She got to have a sleepover with CJ and Jackie Friday night. Then went with Alli and Paul to visit Santa at Walmart on Saturday and hang out and then that night went to Festival of trees with Cj and Jackie. She sure loves her aunts and Uncles.
We have been able to get some really cute pictures of the kids and us in the house with our tree and out in the snow. It was fun letting Cayman play outside and catch snowflakes on her tongue with her daddy.

Cayman, Cooper and I went to the Princess and the Frog with Cj and Jackie for her birthday and it was a really cute movie. Cayman loved it. The movie was actually really good and It went pretty well taking a baby. He did just fine.
Here are our Beenie Babies: What cute kids we have!!
The other night we wrote letters to Santa Clause.
Cayman said she really wants a princess bike. I hope Santa can get it for her. We then mailed the letter to him in the North Pole and it was fun.
We have visited a couple Santa's this year and I think our favorite is Grandpa Santa! What a cute Santa he is.

We got lots of pics this year with him and It is so neat that the kids will be able to have these pictures of Santa(great-grandpa Vincent) to have as memories forever. Cayman sure loves to sit on Santa's Lap.

Every year we go to this home in Bountiful that has a light show and Santa in the window. Cayman loves to watch forever and see him wave to her in the car and to walk around the room he is in. He eats Cookies and drinks milk and she thinks it is real. The other night a lady was walking into this house when Cayman said "I want to go see Santa too." Me: "I know, she is really lucky huh?" Cayman: I want to be lucky too!" What a sweetie. She loves Santa.
The other night I asked her help in getting me some baby wipes off the ledge in the family room. She grabbed out one and then the box started falling. She caught it before it fell to the ground and put in back up on the ledge. I said," Wow, I can't believe how big you are. You are so grown up to be able to help me." She says, "I know, Can I drive your car now?" Hahahaha! What a joker! That was so funny! She has been saying the darndest things!
Hope everyone enjoys our pictures. I will post more around Christmas!

Thanksgiving, ice skating and lights!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I am a little late getting this posted. How the time flies by me in the blink of an eye. Christmas is coming way too fast!
Cory came home from work one day and had brought me a dozen pink roses and Cayman 6 red carnations. She was so happy she got flowers. What a good daddy!
We went iceskating on Tuesday night at my work and asked Cj and Jackie to come with us. I just sat out and took the pictures with Cooper and Cory took Cayman out on the ice. She loves to iceskate but it is easiest when she has 2 hands to hold. This is why Jackie and Cj pretty much had Cayman the whole night. Cory would take Cayman around just himself and she wanted Jackie too. Cory and Jackie took her a couple times and then Cj and Cory took Cayman a couple times. It worked out great to have 2 extra hands there for Cayman to hold onto. It was pretty fun. We then went home and made Caymans favorite treat...Cookies. She loves to eat cookies.

On Wednesday I made my food to take on Thanksgiving. I made a chocolate pie, an Apple pie and mini Huckleberry Cheescakes. We also made a cheeseball. Cayman loves to help out and so we did this together. She pretty much got to lick the bowls and beaters clean. Yummm!!

Thanksgiving day we went to Candice and Dallas's home to eat. I only got a couple pictures and they are of everyone in the kitchen.

I am so thankful for family and friends who love us. I also am so very thankful for my husband and 2 kids. They are my life. I love every minute good and bad I have with them because that shows that life is not perfect. We are so blessed and thankful for our beautiful home, our cars, our jobs and for our health. We are also so thankful for the gospel. Much to be thankful for so I just put a few. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know that dessert was my favorite part other than spending it with family.

Friday we went to Gateway and shopped for a little bit. We got the kids some christmas stuff at Old Navy and that is about all the Christmas shopping we have done. Saturday we watched the last Utah game of the season and I went to Twilight with Connie and Grandma Vincent. It was a fun day.
Cooper has a hard time calming down to fall asleep and he loves his face covered. He will just pull the blanket and snuggle right down into it with his nose. He was having a tantrum the other afternoon so I just put him down on the couch with the blanket and less than 1 minute later, he was sound asleep. This is the picture of how he went to sleep. So funny.
We went to Temple Square Tuesday night with Alli and Paul and hired a Carriage to take us on a ride. Cory and I thought Cayman would love to do this and so we set it up.
It was quite fun but pretty cold. Cayman made it perfectly clear that she wanted to sit with Paul and Alli.
We had a hard time getting her to come sit with us to get a picture.

Cooper had such a red little nose. He did so good. He didn't even cry once. I made hot chocolate and after the ride we found a spot amongst the lights to sit down and warm up. It sure was good.
Little Cooper was just plain cold and tired and after covering up his face but one little eye, he fell fast asleep.
We looked at the lights and then went to eat at Hires. We had some good burgers, fries and rootbeer and Cayman got an icecream cone! What a great way to end the evening.
Cayman starts her ballet class tonite and Cory has his shoulder surgery on Friday. I will post more about that later.

Catching up!
I sure have been slacking on this blog since Cooper was born. I just don't have as much time anymore. Anyways to catch up on some things...We went to St. George in November and enjoyed some much needed warmer weather. It was very nice to get outside and do something. We went on a little hike to Dixie Rock where Cayman got to run and climb all over the red rocks.
We did that 2 days in a row and she loved it! I even got adventurous and took Cooper out on the hike. Cory and Cayman got up really high and waved to us from below.
Later, I hiked up there with them. It was pretty!
Later in the week Cayman and I made some fall crafts. We made turkey hands and an Indian feather hat. What fun!
Cayman and I got tickets to Disney on Ice the Princesses and Grandma Connie came with us. We just had a little girls day out and it was so much fun. Cayman wore her Cinderella dress and it lights up. It looked awesome in the dark! Cayman got to see all her favorite princesses and got to wave and sing and she just loved every minute of it. She was in awe at all the ice skating going on and now asks all the time to go ice skating. After the show we went to Chili's and had lunch. That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Vincents to watch the Ute game and to celebrate CJ's Birthday. It was a really fun day!
That week we found out that Cory is going to have to have shoulder surgery on his right arm. They found that he has a torn labrum and a bone spur they need to cut off. We have scheduled the surgery for December 4th. What luck! Hopefully his arm won't have so many problems after this. Lets hope!
Cory and I went to the Jazz game this week and had a fun date night. We love to watch the jazz! It was a good game and luckily they won!
Cooper is sleeping better at night and only wakes up for 1 or 2 feedings and is growing bigger everyday. He is so cute and fun and now will giggle when you tease him and tickle his sides. He also loves bath time and will kick his feet so hard and smile so big. I got some video of it. I think its cute.
He has been given much love from his older sister and she says he makes her so happy! This said while Cayman is giving the biggest cheeser! She sure loves him. We have been having a little problem with Cayman wanting Coopers binky and trying to take it whenever possible. Not a good thing. She will be super quite and you know something is up. Sure enough, she has a binky in her mouth. What a little trickster. She will usually throw it on the floor and say What? Like she doesn't know she is in trouble. What a handful. Here is a current picture of them together. Aren't they just so cute!
I will post more after Thanksgiving! Have a great week!

Halloween Happiness!

We have had a lot of fun this week doing Halloween festivities! We had our first winter snow that Cayman got to play in. It was quite fun and we made a snowman. Cooper got to see his first snow of the year too. It was cold that day. We bundled Cayman up in her new winter coat and snow pants and boots and she looked like the kid on a Christmas Story...so funny from behind I couldn't stop laughing! She had fun jumping on the tramp and then falling off or actually rolling off onto the ground.
Later this week we carved pumpkins. We had four pumpkins to carve but only did three. Cooper wasn't cooperating very well and we just didn't have enough time. It was fun though and Cayman liked pulling out the guts of the pumpkin. We decorated outside with them and it looks really good!
Friday afternoon we went to Jackies work and Trick or Treated the residents in the hallways. Cooper dressed up as a Giraffe, and Cayman dressed up as Snow white. We asked Caymans friend Miya and her mom Cassy to come with us. It was a lot of fun and when we got there, Jackie was Cruella Deville. So Cute!
We played a game to guess how much candy was in a jar and if you guessed right, you won a pumpkin and the candy. Cayman Won!! Yipee!
That was fun. Cayman and her friend Miya were both Snow White and earlier that morning when Cayman was getting dressed she touched her blonde hair and said " Oh no, my hair isn't black." She was so worried about her hair not being like Snow Whites. Pretty funny.
We got a cute picture of Jack Sparrow and Cruella!
After the care center we went to Mcdonalds and let the kids eat and play. It was a fun morning. Later that night we went to Gardner Village to Witchapalooza and let Cayamn ride on the ponies. She loves to ride them and it is fun.
After that we went on a hayride to a witches house.
Cayman was in awe watching the witches talk and tell about their potions and food they eat.
We got to go in their house and look around and then outside. Cayman got to bury a cockroach in the cemetary and then she learned about poisoned apples.
The witches are nice and pretty and so Cayman was not scared. It was pretty cold and we were bundled up pretty good.
Cooper was so dang cute just wanting to see what was all around him. He was just looking at everything. It is so neat to see the wonder and awe in babies eyes.
We walked around Gardner Village and looked at all the witches and took some pictures.

On the way back to the car Cayman kept saying my bum..my bum.. I had no idea what she meant so we stopped walking and when I looked down this is what I saw!
She meant that her bum was showing. Her pants and panties had both fallen down around her knees. I guess she needs to gain more weight! It was so funny. That made our night come to an end.
Halloween came and I got Cayman ready in her Cinderella Costume this time. I put blue eyeshadow on her eyes with pink blush and put her hair up in curls. She looked so pretty just like a princess.

Cooper was his Giraffe again.
Alli and Paul came to our house to see the kids and as a treat for them they brought in this Huge Cupcake pumpkin treat.
Cayman was so happy! We got a few pictures and then we were off to trick or treat.

We started a little early as to get Cory off to the Utah game but no one really was home yet. We were the first out trick or treating in the neighborhood and it kinda was a bust. Cayman looked so cute though.
Cory left for the game and Grandma came over. She watched Cooper and then I took Cayman out to trick or treat a little later when more kids were out and about. This time, Cayman had to wear her Snow White Costume.
She looked so cute in it too! What a princess we have in our home! We hit quite a few blocks with Caymans friend Georgia and Jacob and she got a ton of candy.
It was a really nice night and pretty warm. We had a lot of fun and then Cayman watched Snow white and fell asleep. Not even 8pm! That is how I am doing the blog! Both kids are asleep and it isn't even 9pm! Wow!! What a fun Halloween we have had! Happy Halloween! These last two pics are just for fun. Cooper loves to sit in this chair like a big boy. He looks like a little man. What a cutie!

Caymans 3rd Birthday Party 2!
To start, Cayman is now 3 years old. She weighs 29.5 lbs and is 36.5 inches tall. She went to the doctors and she looks great. She is right on track with everything.
Cayman loves princesses and so princess was the theme this year and Cayman chose to be Princess Aurora! On the invitations, I wrote that the kids could dress up and some of the big kids dressed up too, like Aunt Alli and Mel.
We even had uncle Cj and Jackie come as Prince and Princess.
I called Magic Princess Parties to book the Sleeping Princess. This is her website http://magicprincessparties.blogspot.com/. She did such an amazing job! We invited 5 neighborhood kids and then both sides of our families came. It was quite the house full of people. Cayman sure is loved. While we waited for the Princess to come, the kids colored and played for a while.
As soon as I saw the princess coming Cayman just ran straight outside into her arms. It was so cute.
It brought tears to my eyes. I have been planning her birthday party for months and I knew she would be so happy to have a princess at her house. Princess Aurora came right inside, sat down and had all the children come sit around her. She started out by telling them her story and what happened to her. It was very cute.
The kids were then able to make themselves crowns to wear.
It was fun to see all the different crowns the kids made. We even let Cooper have a crown.
The kids learned how to dance like a princess, they played freeze, which is when the music plays they can dance and when it stops they freeze! It was fun.
They learned a birthday song for Princess Cayman and we got to sing it to her.
Then they learned about manners. Princess Aurora went through some little right and wrongs and you had to do thumbs up or thumbs down.
After that we got to get some pictures with Aurora. She was very pretty and never once broke out of character.
Cayman got to sit on her lap and open presents from her little friends. From Miya she got a princess book and lipgloss. From Cohen she got a Princess Hair kit with a working blow dryer! Awesome!
She got a princess stamp kit, paint kit and chalk board from Meggie.
She got a truck, ballerina barbie and dress from Georgia and Jacob.
She got a princess crown and activity book from Mckenna who couldn't be there.
Cayman must have some really great friends. What a great day!
After gifts, the kids went into the kitchen and sang happy birthday to Cayman. She blew out her candles and then ate cake and icecream.
After that, Princess Aurora had to leave. Cayman gave her a really big hug and then said good bye. She had such a fun time.
After everyone left, we opened presents from Grandpa Jens and Carma..she got 2 princess barbies and Rapunzel Barbie movie.
She got a book, lipgloss, and Barbie Jeep from Mel and Phil
and Alli and Paul got her Strawberry Shortcake make-up doll.
So much fun to play with all these new toys.
We thank everyone who came to our Princess Party and for all the gifts Cayman got. We had such a fun weekend.
I had to post this way cute picture of Cooper smiling. He sure is getting big. I love this little man!

Cayman's 3rd Bday Party 1!
Our little baby is now 3! I can't believe how fast she has grown up. She is so independent and wants to do everything on her own. She is potty trained, no binkys, can dress herself an pick out her clothes, loves baths and washes her body, can get her own snacks out of the fridge, helps make Kool-aid, cookies and treats, sings songs, plays make-believe, dances, knows her full name, can count to 5 and probably so much more I am forgetting. I just love how she learns new things everyday! She is so smart and so energetic. She is the highlight of my days! When she wakes up in the morning she will come in my room and say Good Morning mommy. I love hearing that every morning and then we hug. She is so sweet!
We had a princess party this year and her birthday was on Wednesday. We did a little family party that night and then we invited neighbor friends and family on Saturday to see the Princess Aurora that we hired. I can't wait for that one! There will be a new blog shortly about party number 2.
Cayman loves everything and anything about princesses. We did a princess theme and I decorated the kitchen for her. I think it turned out really cute. I love the chairs! I did it the night before so it was all ready when she woke up. Cayman came downstairs and said ohhhh...! Can I open presents? Cory was in St. George so I told her we had to wait until daddy got home and she said okay.
I don't think she understood cuz she kept asking every couple minutes the rest of the day to open presents. She was really excited. We went and picked up her princess Aurora cake and cupcakes and then she wanted to eat cake. I gave in and let her have a cupcake. It is her birthday after all! We went to the park and played outside and she had a lot of fun.
Cory got home a little later that night and I made Fettucine alfredo with Chicken and breadsticks. Cayman loves this.
After dinner we hurried and got Cayman in her princess dress and did her hair all pretty. She came downstairs and posed for pictures.
We asked her how old she was and then tried to show us with her fingers, I guess it is kind of tricky so I had to help her. She finally got her 3 finger up in the air.
We opened presents and Cayman was just tearing into the gifts.
She would open one, look at it, throw it down and start in on another gift. She was going crazy trying to open them all in speedy mode! She was so excited. After they were all open she then started looking at everything and playing with her toys. She got walkie talkies, puzzles, huge Snow White color book, Princess Cd player, Snow white doll with horse, Princess mug, Play doh, Mrs. Potato head, and some lipgloss from us.
From Cj and Jackie she got the Snow white Movie. We have already watched it 3 times.
From grandma Connie she got a Princess outfite, 3 music princess books and 2 color and wash princess books.
She got money from Grandparents Vincents.
She had a really good time and it was fun to see her face light up with joy.
Then we had cake and icecream with his grandparents, mom, C.j. and Jackie.
We sang happy birthday to her twice and she blew out the candles twice. She thought that was really fun. Cayman really dug into the cake and was really messy. It was fun to watch her eat it!
We played with the play-doh today and it was fun watching her make things. She even made a cake. I made her out of playdoh and she thought that was funny.
I will post more this weekend after her 2nd party with the Princess. This is the big deal coming up! What a spoiled little kid I have! I wouldn't have it any other way! Happy Birthday Princess Cayman! We love you!
