Cooper 1 year pics! (some with Cayman)

How freaking cute are these pictures? Take a look for yourself!

My neighbor Angalee took these pictures on Wednesday and I already have them! She did a great job and Cooper was quite cooperative! The shoot took only 40 minutes and we got some great pics! These are mainly of Cooper but we did get some really great ones of Cayman as well!

It seemed like Cooper had a really hard time trying to get a picture with Cayman. These are about the best we could get. He was throwing a fit towards the end.

We will do family ones later but for now, ENJOY!!

Happy Birthday!

Earlier this week we got a new camera and these next pictures were just for fun. Cayman loves to wear glasses and she does look pretty darn cute..Cooper loves his truck. It is one of his favorite things to push around.

My little model! I love these next 2 pictures!

Cooper loves to stand on anything! Loves this little chair!
Cayman making silly faces!

Cayman also had another ice skating lesson that she is getting better at. She can now walk on the ice and keep her balance. They use these buckets for support in standing up and sometimes sitting in this case...

We started out the weekend for Coopers Birthday by having my my Dad, Carma and brother Ryan over to go swimming at the Rec Center. Cooper loves the water and so we thought it was a perfect time to go. Cooper loved the slide and went with uncle Ry and Cory and then Cayman got brave and jumped off the diving board several times! What a bunch of fishes we have!

After swimming we came home and let the kids take a nap before dinner. Here is Dad and Cayman snoozing away!
We went to the Pie and ate and then headed to Summerfest at the park. We went around to booths, watched the performers, enjoyed cotton candy and Cayman got her face painted.
We came home and waited up for Phil and Mel to get here and then went to bed. What a day!
We woke up early the next morning and had a big breakfast, then got ready to go to the Alpine slide in Park City. It was probably the first time in forever that my whole family was together. What fun that was! Here they are going on the lift up...
Cayman and Cory got to ride together and I just love the look on Caymans face!
Here is everyone else that did the slide.....nice face Paul!

After Park City we came home and got ready for Coopers Birthday Party! I can't believe how fast his 1 year came. I felt like I just had him and now he is growing up so fast. Here is his 1 month pic and his 1 year pic. Totally cute and still same hair! Even same little mouth shut smile! What a darling little boy he is!
Mine and Cory's goal was to have this little man walking by his birthday and that is what happened. Cooper started taking little steps by himself towards the end of July, and by his birthday was standing up by himself and walking around. Granted he is still wobbly but doing a great job! Here is Cooper posing for his Birthday picture! We had our families come over for lunch and then we opened presents. Cooper wasn't much into the opening of gifts as he was into looking at them. Cayman was a great big sister and helped open all his presents and then she helped Cooper play with them.

He got a lot of great toys and his favorite was possibly the Mickey mouse card Cayman got him that plays the Hot dog song. Cooper just sits and opens and shuts it and bounces up and down dancing. He loves that card! Cayman also got him some Winnie the Pooh maracas and a book called "My little brother the Little Monster." So perfect!
He got a Ball popper from grandma Connie, Leap frog My Pal Scout puppy from Grandpa and Cocoa, Lawn mower and tool bench from Alli, Paul, Mel, Phil, and Ryan. He got 2 darling shirts from Candice and Dallas and a Utah shirt from CJ and Jackie. From us he got stackable cups, a star music stacker, shape sorter, Mega block farm and clothes. He has been playing with all his toys and loves them all! It is nice for him to have his own things and not just Caymans stuff. Thanks everyone for coming and for all his gifts! We then did cake and ice cream and we did a sports theme cake. It was his own baseball to eat.
I love this picture of Cooper looking at Cayman like what is going on?
We sang to him and then Cayman helped him blow out the candle. Then we just let Cooper go at it! He was very polite at first, took a little lick with his finger and then
Thinks about if he like what he tasted,
Must have liked it because then
Yummy! A handful of cake in the mouth.
And then decides he doesn't like this stuff on his hands and all over his body. He then gets mad and we clean up the birthday boy!
Grandma Connie bought this awesome bouncy house and brought it over for the kids to play in on Coopers birthday. Cooper is very afraid of it and I am surprised that he even got in for a few minutes. It will be a fun toy when he gets a little bigger. Cayman and Cohen sure loved it though.

At the end of this very long birthday day, my little man was all pooped out. He could barely keep his eyes open. Here is one last smile before he goes to bed! Happy Birthday little guy! What a precious gift you are to daddy and I. We love you so much and are so grateful we get to raise such a special baby. You are a joy in our family and we love your laughs, smiles, hugs and kisses! Cayman even loves it when you pull her hair! I know she does! You make us happy and we LOVE you! Happy 1st Birthday Cooper!
