We started this last weekend off by going to an Easter egg hunt. We got up and ready to be there by 10am. We went to the school where it was last year and nothing was going on. What the heck? This was our favorite place...how could it not be there? Off to Hatch Park to see if there was an egg hunt there. Yay!! We barely made it so out of the car we ran like mad and had 10 seconds to spare before the horn blew and Cayman was off picking up her Easter eggs. It lasted maybe 1 minute and Cayman had fun getting her basket of eggs with candy.
Poor Cooper was just too little and couldn't get anything. But we got a picture! We headed home and I looked up our first egg hunt, luckily it is next week!! We will have one more hunt!!
We decided to go into Bountiful and take the kids to the Bunny Hop at the Rec Center. It was pretty lame. We did get the kids faces painted
and Cayman got to color some easter pictures. Cayman also did a bean bag toss that she won candy at.
She also did a fishing game and won this awesome balloon ship blower!! She loves it!
We came home and I found these bunnies on my floor!! Pretty cute huh?
That afternoon Cayman and I went and got pedicures with my sister Alli. We had so much fun and it was Caymans first time. She loved it!! She is such a princess that I knew this would be so fun for her. Cayman got to soak her feet in the water and then the lady came and dried off her feet. She then painted her toenails in a minty green color and then painted her fingernails. Cayman loved every second of it. She sat so cute and this picture of her with her legs crossed is hilarious. She acts like she is 20 not 3. The end result was pretty great!!
We went and got ice cream after wards and it was just really nice to get out for a little bit and do something girlie. I feel like my life revolves around cleaning, taking care of everyone, changing diapers, holding Cooper, feeding Cooper, picking up toys, cleaning up spit up and doing mommy stuff all day long. I stay in sweats and wear my hair in a ponytail most days and it was nice to be Me again plus the 50 extra pounds I have put on with having my kids. Don't get me wrong, I love doing all the mommy stuff, I love my kids more than life itself but sometimes, I like to be pretty too. This was a great girls day with my favorite little girl!! And a way cool aunt! Thanks to Cory who stayed home with Cooper and had a boys day out. They went on a couple walks outside in the nice sunny weather and saw grandma Connie.
Later that night we decided to go bowling at Orchard lanes.
CJ and Jackie came with us and Cayman loves to be with her Aunts and Uncles.
It was Caymans first time bowling and she had fun picking up her heavy ball, and rolling it down the lane. She wasn't very happy when the ball didn't hit any pins. We had such fun and Cooper was really good.
He loved to stand on the chair and thinks he is really big when he stands up!! Such a cutie!!
We also had another run in with Caymans love...Tim Urban. Of course it isn't the real American Idol singer, but Cayman thinks any boy with shaggy long looking hair that is dark is her Tim Urban. She was giving googily eyes and smiles and we had to get another picture. What a funny kid I have. We had a good time bowling and will do it again soon!! Fun for the whole family!!
Sunday we dressed the kids in one of their Easter outfits and got some pictures. Pretty good looking bunch I might say!!
Cooper is sleeping in his crib really well and most nights will roll over onto his tummy. He can pull himself up and Cory got these of him smashing his face against the crib and finally standing up! What a cutie!
This was all on Saturday so we had a really fulfilling, jam packed day of activities. I can't wait for this weekend and more fun stuff to do!!! Stay Tuned!!
