Day3
We headed to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz. It's this weird
place where gravity changes and you can do weird things. We took a tour
and had fun experiencing the force that was there. These pictures don't
even do this justice. Trust me..it was very strange.
This house is level...I promise!
The gravity just pulls you!
Standing on a flat surface.
After that we
headed to Big Basin to have a picnic and do some hiking. Halfway there,
Cory blew a tire and we had to change it. We fixed the tire and then
headed in to have a picnic in the woods and then we went into the park
and hiked around a little bit. Cooper made a friend named Dante, and
they ran all over together. His grandma shared watermelon with us and
then we headed back to the hotel.
We stopped and got ice cream at this
little shop and they were so big.
The kids were happy.
At the hotel, I
took the kids swimming while Cory got a new tire put on the car.
We
went and found a light house to look at and then went and played on the
beach.
We then went to dinner at this amazing Italian restaurant called
Kiantis. They give the kids a mound of dough to play with while waiting
for dinner. It kept them entertained. Cooper was trying to put it on my
face and his. Silly guy.
We tried pizza, fettuccine, spaghetti, lasagna
and garlic bread. All so yummy! After dinner we went and got some
cupcakes for dessert.
Day 4
We woke up and headed to San Fransisco. We went to pier 39 and
ate at Boudinis for lunch.
We let the kids ride on the carousel
and then we watched a little magic show that
Cayman was apart of and was shown how to make a bottle disappear in a
brown paper bag.
She was super cute. Cooper loved watching the seals and
we got them ice cream cones.
After the Pier we headed up to Coit tower and saw the overlook of the city. It was so pretty.
It was getting a little cold so we shopped
for some Giants gear and then we headed to the Giants Baseball game.
Cory and Cayman bought a baseball and Cayman was able to get 2
autographs on it. One from the coach Bruce Bochy and one from the player
Brandon Crawford. Cayman was so happy.
We then got some amazing
garlic fries
and hotdogs and the kids played in the fun zone. The game
was incredibly cold and we were just not warm enough. Cooper fell
asleep for a little bit and Cayman was doing what the little boys were
doing after each inning and trying to get a ball thrown to her over the
fence.
The fun zone and Cooper hit a home run!
It was fun despite the cold. I am glad we could do something Cory
really loves. He loved the game. The Giants won!
