We made a trip to Eureeka California to sight see and go along the coast. We started by stopping at the Salt Flats in Salt Lake on our way to California.
We got there as a storm was coming in and we saw some really great lightning.
Our next stop was at the Golden Nugget in Reno Nevada. We had fun staying there and the next morning we headed to Eureeka. We stoppped in a town that was famous for Big foot and looked at the museum.
They had some really cool bigfoot cast molds. We had fun exploring.
I love that Cooper wanted to fist bump the Bigfoot.
We found Paul Bunyon and Babe.
The kids found this driftwood and said they were surfing.
This is the Trinidad lighthouse and we had fun looking in this little town.
There were all these stairs and they lead from the top of the lighthouse to the beach. It was craziness going down and up this long staircase so the kids and Cory made it to the bottom and went exploring.
We drove the car through the Tour Thru Tree in Klamath.
We went to Fern Canyon and we saw lots of these Roosevelt Elk. They were so pretty and everywhere.
We explored the canyon and saw some really pretty greenery and Ferns.
At the end of the night we went for a swim in the pool.
The next morning we drove to a few of these really pretty historian homes. I loved them
On our drive to the next stop we actually saw a black bear on the edge of a mountain and we stopped to watch. It was pretty cool to watch a bear.
