Day 3 and 4 in San Francisco

We headed along HWY1 to find a hotel the night before and it turned into quite the adventure. We had no luck finding anything on the coast and it was Memorial Weekend so we should have stayed where we had a reservation already. Cory didn't want to back track so the search was on for a hotel. We drove through these trees and it was pretty.

We stopped at the beach and walked around for a little bit and the beach was covered in these little things...
They are little jelly fish that are c0nnected with a blue bottom and the white part is the sail. They float on top of the ocean but also get stuck on the sand. They were very weird.

How can you not love the beach.

After much driving around we ended up finding a ghetto hotel and stayed the night and got up early to finish our drive to San Francisco. We started by driving up crooked street.

We walked around the pier and got hot chocolate. That was yummy.

We walked along the beach and then we headed to the museum of Natural science.

We had to wait in line forever in the freezing cold. It was so cold here!

Once inside we were able to explore and see the rainforest. It was pretty neat and there were butterflies flying around the whole place. It was a pretty place to be.

We went to the aquarium and saw lots of animals and fish.

These jelly fish were clear but the light inside made them change colors.
Cayman got this picture of what she calls a diamond.
We went to the desert and saw animals.
 They saw inside the whale.
There was a huge dinosaur. We also got to experience an earthquake.  They had a home that was set up to simulate an earthquake and it was pretty awesome. The museum was a lot of fun.
Later that night we headed to our friends home and stayed the night there and had dinner. Their family is great and we were happy to see them.

The next day we headed to a baseball game and we saw the As play.

They are taking d0wn the bridge and putting up this silver one. Its crazy to watch the process.

We spent more time on the Wharf and pier and the kids got to pick out a Beenie Boo they wanted. There was also this cool Piano stair case the kids got to play on.

After a full day we headed to the Oakland Temple and it was beautiful.

The kids were being silly and Cooper put his Owl up in holder in the car.
We went to Pleasanton and had a delicious dinner.
