We put up Christmas!
After weeks and weeks of being pestered by Cory to put Christmas up, I finally gave in and said we could do it Sunday. And sure enough we did. It looks really festive and so pretty. I love Christmas so much. It is my favorite holiday of the year. Growing up we would put it up the day after Thanksgiving. It seems now that people put it up right after Halloween. I wanted to still have a fall and Thanksgiving so I didn't want to give in too soon. I think the week before is fine since we will be out of town for Thanksgiving and now it will be up when we get back. I am posting some cute pictures of our Christmas home. Cayman is going to hate the word No, because I have to say it all day long. She can't leave her hands off anything in the house now and loves all the Christmas stuff we put up. She is getting to be more and more naughty and I know now that she is 2 the fun begins. She already talks back to me and wont obey very well. Everyday is a challenge and a gift all at the same time. She now says her name and it is so very cute. I love my little monkey.
This weekend was the Utah-BYU Football game playoffs for the BCS Bowl and It was sure an awesome victory for the UTES. Cory's Grandpa Vincent did the sidelines for the UTES for over 50 years or more. I know it was a long time and he retired about 3 years ago and now his son Steve does it. They are all really big Utah fans and we watch the games every week over at their home. It is fun to get together and this weekend was no exception, we had lots of food and fun!! It was really great to see them win!! Yay!!
After the game Connie, Jackie, Grandma Vincent and I went to see Twilight. I have to say that it followed the book really well and I absolutely fell in love with Edward. I wasn't sure what I was going to think about the movie, but it was really good. Edward sure was dreamy and great to look at. I am in suspense for the next ones to come out.
I will be off to Idaho on Wednesday with Alli and Paul. Cory will come up Thursday and pick up my Grandma Mead on his way up and then we will have our Thanksgiving weekend. It will be nice to see everyone again. I will post more when we get back. I am very thankful for my family and my wonderful husband. He is the greatest thing to happen to me other than my precious baby Cayman. They are my great love in this crazy world and I thank God everyday for them. Remember what you are thankful for this season and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

New this week!
It finally happened, Cayman climbed out of her crib. I put her down for her nap and then I could hear a bunch of noise and then her door shut, what the heck? Sure enough, my little one is laying on her toddler bed with the biggest, cheesiest smile and I know she is thinking she is so proud! It was too cute. I have been expecting this for months, we have a toddler bed and she won't sleep in it. Now she will have too. I took down her crib today and she has been sleeping in her bed for 2 days now. She has been sleeping really good except for tonight, I put up the baby gate in her doorway so she couldn't come running out, next thing I hear is a thump and she had climbed over the gate. What a little monkey she is. I hope it goes better tomorrow. We have been trying to potty train also, which is really hard for me. Cayman acts like she wants to try, but then she won't. I am just going to try it everyday for a little bit at a time. We have had plenty of accidents and I know there will be more. If anyone has hints, please tell me!!
I have tried to make Cayman some new hair bows, and I have to say I did a pretty good job! They are really cute! So easy too! Here are some pics.
We had a movie night with Cayman, and Cory rented Tinkerbell. Cayman has been wanting to see it and when they show previews on TV she says "me, me, me" and jumps up and down. Cory surprised her and we settled in on the couch and watched the cartoon. That was fun.
It was CJ's birthday on Friday so Grandma Connie took Cayman for a sleepover and we went to dinner and the new James Bond movie with all his friends. It was really fun and Cayman loves to have sleepovers.
On Saturday we went to Disney on Ice, Cory got us tickets and it was really cute. Cory got a bucket of popcorn and we decided that Cayman ate more than half of it. Her hand was in the popcorn till it was gone! Cayman did really well the first half of the show. She had such a huge grin on her face and her eyes super big and she clapped and danced and it really brought me to tears. She loved to see Mickey and Goofy and Donald and all the Princesses. I was so happy to see Her so happy at that moment. I love my little one. The show was a little long and she got restless during the second half. She made it through the whole show though. I was so happy to do that as a family. It was fun.
That night we went to Cory's Grandparents and watched the Ute game. It was really good and they won by a huge number! Go UTES!!
Tonight an all time favorite was on TV and I thought Cayman would like to watch it, The Wizard of Oz. She was pretty interested and when it went from black and white to color she said "wowwwww.." I forgot it was kinda scary. Hopefully she wont have nightmares.
Cayman is getting so big. Her new thing is to run around and say "SAVE ME!". I guess she is being chased or tickled or can't get up. It is really funny and she says "Help" all the time too. I can't believe she is not a baby anymore. I sure do love my little kid all the same! More later!

Happy Halloween!
What a great Halloween we had. On Thursday, Cayman and I baked cupcakes and cookies and then took them to some of our neighbors.
Cayman got to put the candy corns on the cupcakes and ate more than she put on. She was quite proud of the cupcake she made for herself. We carved pumpkins that night and had a lot of fun!
Cayman Friday I took Cayman to the Lifecare center in Bountiful with our neighbors the Carters to go Trick-or-Treating.
I think the grandmas and grandpas in there sure had a lot of fun watching all the little kids. It was quite the candy route and we left after only doing half of the loop. It was kinda hard to hold the little kids attention in a building that was super hot! Cayman ended up taking off her monkey top because she was so hot. She had fun and got good candy. We came home after that and Grandma Connie came up to see Cayman. She stayed to pass out candy while Cory and I took Cayman around the neighborhood.
It was the first year we have Trick-or-Treated and I don't think Cayman got the idea very much. She would knock on the door then try to hide behind us. We went to one house that had haunted music and lights and was really done up for Halloween and Cayman was really scared. We only did maybe 12 houses and then decided to go home. Alli and Paul met us halfway through and did a couple houses with Cayman.
She was excited to see them. She got lots of candy and was a really cute monkey. We then made a Papa Murphy's Pizza and settled in for the night. It was quite interesting because we only got maybe 10 trick or treater's at our house and so now we have all this candy left over. I guess maybe next year when there are more houses on our street we will get more kids. We had lots of fun and it was great to see Cayman so cute and having fun!
