Happy Easter!!

We started off this Easter weekend with a Ward Egg hunt at the park. It was on Friday and it was super cold. We had fun and that's what matters.

We had to bring 10 filled eggs and then scattered them on the ground. Then you could go find 10 eggs for your basket. Easy and everyone gets eggs. Cooper didn't get to pick up any eggs so he just got his picture on the grass.
That night we all went to dinner at Pei Wei with Aunt Alli and Uncle Paul. After dinner Cory and Cooper went home and the rest of us went to see my cousin Gabby in her Jr.High play Joseph and the technicolor dream coat. Cayman had a lot of fun and Gabby did a good job. Cayman even got to be on stage for the first part of it with the cast. Cayman loved it!
Saturday we started with another Egg hunt at Woods Cross Elementary. They have activities to do, egg hunts and you get to see the Easter Bunny. How fun!! Alli and Paul came this year with us and Cayman was so excited. She loves them!! We got our picture with the Easter bunny and then Cayman went to do the cake walk. She won!! Awesome! Then off to the egg hunt. It was still a cold day but okay to be outside.

Cooper tried really hard to pick up some eggs and he got one. Cayman was a great egg hunter and shared some of her eggs with another little kid. What a nice girl.
After that we just headed to Gateway mall and went to do some shopping. Alli and Paul came with us and we had fun shopping and then ate lunch. It was a nice day. After we got home we watched afternoon conference and then colored eggs.

So much fun for Cayman but it seemed like the colors were not working very well. Dull colored eggs but oh well.. Cooper had fun playing with the plastic ones.

These are some of the Easter crafts we have done this month. Cayman loves to make things.
That night Connie came over and we made applesauce cookies and sugar colored popcorn. Cory went to Priesthood with Cj and we just had a nice evening. Finally, the time came that the kids went to bed and the Easter bunny could come!!
I must say the Easter bunny went a little overboard this year. It was like a 2nd Christmas at our house. Crazy that it wasn't me this time. It was Cory. He kept buying stuff and couldn't quit. Oh well, it was fun. This is Caymans and Coopers Easter stuff.

Easter morning we had fun letting the kids tear into the baskets and then let Cayman find her plastic candy filled eggs that the Easter bunny hid in the house.

Cooper loved his little toys and immediately went to town eating them. He got a little truck that he can sit on and push with his feet or stand and help him to walk. So cute.
Cayman got a bat, mitt, glove, golf clubs and some clothes, candy and smaller things. So much fun to play catch with daddy.
We had a good breakfast and then had Roast for dinner. We did not go anywhere this Easter and it was strange to not be around family. It was just us four and that is okay!! We just did our own thing. Watched Conference and ate Easter candy!! Yummy!
Just a few things about Cooper, He loves to play with Caymans Pink Princess castle. It is like his favorite toy. Cayman shares pretty well but sometimes does not want her brother touching the toy. He also love to stand up. He thinks he is so big!! He isn't crawling yet but will scoot and move all over the room. It is not going to be long before he is crawling. He also got his 4 top teeth. Now he has 6 total. He is sleeping well in his crib and the Prevacid is helping him eat more and sleep better. We now have a pretty normal, happy baby!! Yay!! Going to Idaho next weekend and will post more than.
