I am finally going to blog. Its about time!! The first couple pics are of doll furniture Cayman and I made from play- doh. It was quite fun making little couches and rugs and play things.
I will admit that when I was younger, up until I was maybe twelve years old, I played Barbies daily. I loved it! Now, I despise it. I feel so awful when little Cayman wants me to play with her. I just can't do it for more than 5 minutes. I saw one of my friends had made the dolls furniture so that's what we did! Much better that playing dolls.
We had a good visit from my dad the beginning of March. He came on Thursday and stayed until Tuesday. Here are a few pics he got while he was here.
It was so fun to see him and have him play with his grand kids for 6 whole days. We also got to see Alli and Paul for most of those days too!! The kids were in heaven. The kids were so happy to see him and had a really great time. We went to Moochies on Saturday with Alli and Paul and ate lunch and then walked around the Church history museum. We watched the Joseph Smith movie and then ate dinner at The Pie. The kids loved playing in the kid part of the museum and we had a very nice day. Sunday we went to The spoken word at the Tabernacle. Dad and I had never been and it was pretty neat. We then went to Alli's for dinner.
We had a big snowstorm one of the days and the kids played in the snow. Cooper loves riding his little bike down the driveway and waiting as it catches speed towards the end. In his snow suit it was a little harder to sit on and Cooper looked so funny.
The other days, we pretty much just hung out, visited and just enjoyed having dad and grandpa here. It was great! Cooper also took up grandpa's time by reading books together. Cooper has just been loving looking at these books and the colorful pages. It is great. That weekend, Cory and Cayman went to the Gymnastic meet at the U. Cayman loves to go to those meets and has so much fun. This time they went with our friends Gary and his little girl Mckenna. They had a great time.
Disney on ice came this past weekend and with the 4 tickets that I won, we were able to go. I was so excited to win something I had been wanting to get. We invited Cayman's friend Georgia to go with us. Cayman dressed up as Belle and we did her hair so pretty. Here are some pics before the show with the kids just outside playing. Cayman of course is posing it up as a princess! Cooper and his sun glasses just makes me laugh.
The kids just loved the show. I think that the popcorn came in a close second. The kids could not stop eating it! Not even for a picture. Popcorn is way too good.
The show was much different from the ones we have seen and it was really good. Cooper loved it and just kept pointing at everything. Cayman was so cute just singing to the songs and asking when she would see so and so and when would they come out. She was excited. Here are some pics of Disney on ice.
I just had to post this picture of one of Cayman's crazy outfits. She will usually try to leave the house in things like this. I don't get it and it is kinda bizarre. She is quite eccentric in her own way.One more thing, while my dad was here he showed me how to thread my moms old sewing machine. I have had this for 10 years and finally I can use it. I made these burp rags for my friends baby shower. I think they turned out rather cute!
That's enough for now! More to come when the sun comes out!

Oh my gosh! That outfit of Cayman's is hilarious! I love the picture of her outside dressed as Belle. If I hadn't seen you pregnant with Cayman, I would swear she is Melanee's child. Identical!
Those kids get cuter every single day! Your dad and Cooper look so much alike in some of the expressions on thier faces. To cute! I just love Cayman's outfit. She seems like a little fashionista in the making.
