Getting ready for the holidays.

Its been awhile since we last posted. This is just a blog to catch up and have some pics. Cayman and I got new coats this year and although we didn't plan it, we got pretty similar ones. We match!! Pretty cute anyways! We had a great Thanksgiving out at Connies house. Everyone came and Cayman and Cooper got to play with their favorite cousins!! We ate lots of good food and played games. It was fun. The next day was our last Utah game of the season. It was nice weather but cold outside. We braved it but in the end we lost. Bummer. Can't wait til next season.
The other night we wrote letters to Santa!

Cayman and Cooper told me what they wanted and I wrote their list. It was fun. The next day we put them in the mailbox and hope they get to the North Pole soon.

We put Christmas up and I love the looks of Christmas in our home. It is so cozy and festive. I love it!! Here are some pics.

We put up trees in each of the kids rooms too. Cayman has a pink tree and Cooper has a regular green tree. It is Christmas all over our house! While we were putting up Christmas our friend the Elf came to visit. He stays during the month of December and reports back to Santa if the kids have been good or bad. He is usually a very good visitor but lately he has been up to some mischief of his own...he put polka dots on the kids face's one night and he hides in silly places

and then last night he toilet papered Cayman's room. Can you see Elf hiding in her tree? It is pretty fun to watch the kids reaction to the things that happen and Cooper loves to find where Elf is hiding everyday. It is really fun. Cayman however, is afraid of the elf now that he gets into trouble sometimes. She really doesn't like Elf in her room. This is a fun tradition that Grandma Connie started a couple years ago and the kids just love it. We will be going to our ward Christmas Party Saturday and then we have a full week ahead of Holiday fun. I will post more then!

You always have the most festive house. I love it! Also, where did you get that "And The Stockings Were Hung" plaque? I so need something like that for our stockings.

All I can say is I am sorry I gave you such a naughty elf. Perhaps Santa better recall him or at least put him on the naughty list.

Love ya.
