Texas and fun

Cory and I flew to Texas a couple weekends ago to go to my brothers wedding open house in Missouri City.  Here we are waiting to board the plane with my dad and his wife Carma.
I love the clouds from the plane and I knew Cayman would love them.
We went to a good BBQ place for dinner that night and met up with my sister and her hubby. They convinced us to go to a haunted house called scream world. It was super pricey and not that scary.
Saturday we drove out to Galveston and took a ferry out to the dock and back and were able to see a ton of Dolphins jumping and swimming.  It was pretty cool to see them.
We ate Mexican and my dad ate this 3lb burrito.  Since he finished it, he got a shirt! Awesome!

 Visited the Beach.
Dad getting a ginormous soda to wash down that huge burrito.
We made a stop and visited the Houston Holocaust museum. It was pretty sad and depressing and just unbelievable what Hitler did.  It was awful. Here is a boat that they hid Jews on in the bottom. They transported them to land where they would live.
This is a train car that they filled so tight that the people had to stand for hours. Many people died on this car. Awful.

We had a fun day and then we went to the open house for my brother. This is when they got married in Idaho and then  2 weeks later flew to Texas for an Open House where she is from. Cute couple.
We had a good time and thanks to Connie,Jackie and Cj for watching the kids. It was a nice break for 3 days.  I know the kids had a great time playing with Jackson.  The following weekend we had some friends over and the kids frosted Sugar cookies and ate them. It was fun.

Keep a look out for the Halloween post...its coming.
