We started off Easter week with an activity of the Resurrection with eggs. You opened one egg in order and there was a scripture and a prop in each one. It was fun and the kids learned more about Jesus dying for us. We then watched the LDS Cartoon He is Risen by Living Scriptures. It was a good night.
I wanted to do something fun with Cayman while Cooper was in school one day so we chose to go to the hot tub. It was nice outside and she got to swim.
The next day we went to Castle Park in Fruit Heights and met my sister Alli and baby Carter there. We had a picnic and played all morning.
Friday Cayman and I went and got our nails done. She loved it!
We also had a little Easter egg Hunt for the Neighborhood that I put on. We had a great turn out and the kids had fun getting the eggs with their friends. Here they are with their buddies Hayden and Tanner.
We colored Easter eggs that night and tried to not make a huge mess. We colored 48 eggs in all. It was a bunch. Lots of fun!
The next morning we woke up and went to our annual egg hunt at Woods cross. We got to see the Easter bunny and get some treats.
This year Jackson was able to come and Cooper was so happy to have his buddy there.
Ready, set, Go!! Get the eggs!
Cayman is such a good runner and so intent on doing her task..Picking up the most eggs.
After the egg hunt is was time to travel down south to Spanish Fork for the Color Festival. We met Candice and the kids there and had a great time getting dirty! We love this time of year and the chalk we get to throw.
We went to Wendys after and ate and then headed home to shower. We were so chalky! Very fun though!
That night we watched the movie Hop for Easter and then the kids went to bed and the Easter bunny came. Here is Coopers stash.
Here is Caymans stash.
I guess Cooper was posing for the Easter morning shot? Cute though isn't he?
We had an egg hunt at Grandma Connies on Easter and the kids got so much fun stuff. They loved looking for their prizes and playing in the bounce house.
We had a great dinner and then we had to get a family picture with the Grandparents.
We had a great Easter week spending time with friends and family. We love the Lord and His son Jesus Christ. We love being Mormons and able to share and learn more about the gospel. We are an Eternal Family and that means everything to us. He Lives! I love our family!
