Cruise

Cory and I booked a cruise with our friends and we started out in Vegas.  We walked through a few casinos and then hit the strip to see what was out there.

This was a statue all made of chocolate and it was huge!  You could smell the chocolate in the air.
We went to the Titanic exhibit in the Luxor and it was so amazing. I have been fascinated with the Titanic my whole life. It was very cool to see the items they found in the bottom of the ocean and the piece of the boat they were able to bring up to be displayed. It really was quite neat.
We stayed in Mesquite on the first night headed down. Our hotel had  a car show there and it was pretty neat to see the real cars used on movies.  We saw quite a few cars off of the show the Fast and the Furious. This is the Batman car from the 60s.

 Scooby doo van!

 Back to the Future!
The kids stayed at Allis for the weekend and she sent me many pics to keep me updated. I really miss the kids when we are gone.

Here I am smiling for Cayman and trying not to cry. We boarded the ship and headed to our first destination in Catalina.
 On the boat.

The next day we got off in Catalina and were able to go explore. We had great weather and we booked a private boat to go whale and dolphin watching.

 Lots of Sea lions

 Our boat..

Look closely and you can see the spout of the whales blow hole. It is so neat to see.

We went snorkeling after that but didn't have any pictures. It was so cold and we had to wear wet suits. We looked pretty silly. The snorkeling there is usually great but they had just had an algae bloom and we weren't able to see that far in the water.  The instructor had fish food that she threw in the water and the fish just swarmed around us. It was pretty fun.

That night we had this towel animal on our bed. Ready to start our next day in Ensenada Mexico!
