Christmas 2013

The week before  Christmas we were just getting  back from our cruise and we baked goodies for our neighbors. Banana Bread, fudge, and cookies.
We made a gingerbread house one night and the kids did a great job decorating it.

We were able to watch Caymans class pet chameleon named Pascal. We had him for a week and he was fun to look at.
We went to Get air sports in Kaysville with Aunt Alli, Paul, and Carter and the kids had a blast jumping everywhere and into the foam pit. Cooper keeps asking to back!

 Making more cookies.
Cory went in for Surgery on his ankle and tendons that Friday and so he was down and out for a few days. He is on crutches and wont be able to go back to work for 6 weeks. Hopefully this will help is foot from hurting.
We had the Skidmore Christmas Party that weekend and since Cory couldn't get around, they came to our house and opened gifts. Cayman loved this huge art kit from Grandpa and Grandma Skidmore. Loved It! She also got fun gifts from her Aunts and Uncles. Spoiled rotten!
Cooper loved this remote control bike from Grandma and Grandpa Skidmore and loves to play with it. He also got spoiled from the Aunts and Uncles.
The kids then went with my Sisters and the rest of the family to go see Zoo lights at Hogle zoo and to get some dinner. I stayed home with Cory and the kids had a fun evening.

On the 23rd we had the Cottrell family party and we got a new surprise with the Cottrells having their baby on this day. They named he Lee and he is so cute. The kids love him already. Grandma  Connie had crafts for the kids to do and they made a manager scene and a baby Jesus Cup.

Grandma read them a book and then we had a slice of Baby Jesus cake.

The kids all  got 2 Disney shirts and 1 Disney toy. It was to get them excited for our Family trip to Disneyland in May.  It was very fun.
Christmas eve we went on a drive to look at lights and took grandma Connie with us. We came home and made cookies and got Santas treats ready for him. We opened or gift of Jammies and the kids then went to bed. Here is what they got Christmas morning. Spoiled!!

The mess afterward is always awful and my least favorite part of the day. I then made breakfast and we had Grandma Connie over to eat and see what the kids got.
Grandpa Mark and Celeste came over that afternoon to bring the kids a gift and to say Merry Christmas and the kids loved their presents. They were very spoiled this year!! Thanks to everyone for the great Christmas.

Cayman got the Disney Infinity game for the wii and we have been playing it everyday. It is for sure getting its use.
We have sure been blessed this year and we are so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge we have learned.  We are very grateful for our children and the family around us. We have been able to do alot this year and see many things. We have had a lot of fun. We hope to have a great new year in 2014!
