Our Disney Cruise Day 1 & 2

We have been wanting to do a Disney Cruise for quite sometime so when we heard some amazing deals were happening out of Galveston, we decided to book one.  Our cruise went to the Bahamas. We had 4 days at sea and we stopped in Key West, Florida, Disneys private island Castaway Cay, and Nassau, Bahamas.  We flew into Texas Friday night around 11pm in the freezing cold and then we had to wait for over an hour to get a shuttle to take us to the hotel. I had to call about 15 times to finally get someone to pick us up. It was so cold waiting outside.
Here we are leaving to fly to Houstan Texas to catch our cruise ship:  The Disney Wonder. The kids were really good and watched a movie on the Ipad. They did great traveling.

 And sleeping.
Day 1: We got up bright and early and headed to our Disney Shuttle. The ride was about 90 minutes and we were able to watch a movie about our trip and we played some Disney Trivia. We got to our cruise port and then it began! We were able to get pictures with Mickey and Minnie before we boarded the cruise ship.

First thing on the ship they give us our own welcome with two rows of  10 people each announcing our entry onto the boat. " We Welcome the Cottrell Family!"  Cooper and Cayman were so happy and had such big smiles on their faces. It was awesome. They gave us some Hot Cocoa to warm us up. It was like 40 degrees in Texas. So cold!!  We explored the ship and found the pool. It looked like fun. They played some basketball for a little bit and then we got some food.

The food was not great on the ship, but they had a great selection of fruits that we ate everyday.
That first day was pretty simple, walking around and looking at everything. The kids were really excited.
The bon voyage party was pretty fun but cold!
Every time we ate dinner, the kids had ketchup and they made it in the shape of Mickey.
The kids club had very cute bathrooms all mini sized.

Cooper loved running around and finding everything.

Cayman of course had to be on stage and showing off.

 We found ping pong.

And we found our first friends!! Pluto and Goofy!
They did the lighting of the tree that night and we explored more things.
We found a giant gingerbread house and it smelled so good. It was all made out of real ingredients and was awesome.

 2nd day: At Sea
This day was a little more planned. We got a Navigator every night to tell us what was planned during the day on the boat. We could see what activities we wanted to do and if the kids wanted to go play at the Oceaneer Kids club. We had dinner at 3 different locations during the cruise and they were Tritons, Animators Palate, and Parrot Cay.  My favorite was Animators Palate. The room changed colors with a paint brush and paint on the ceiling. The drawings would start as a sketch and finish in color. It was fun. We really had looked forward to eating good dinners every night.  The next day we had breakfast and realized we were finally in some warm weather.

The kids spent most everyday at the pool. They loved it so much! It was perfect for them. They could swim without us in there.

Cayman loved going down the slide. Poor Cooper was too small.

That afternoon we waited in line to see Princess Anna from the new movie Frozen. We love that show. It was fun to meet her.

We had taken the kids to go play at the club and look who we ran into...

The kids had saved some birthday money so they brought it on our cruise and they each picked out a toy. Cooper got a watch and Cayman picked out Pascal.
We ran into Ariel that night.
Our restaurant was Triton and it had lights that changed colors the whole dinner. There was a huge mural of Ariel and King Trition on the wall in front of us.
The kids ate lots of fruit on the trip. Silly faces.
Cory and Cayman got chosen to play in a family game night. We loved going to this lounge and playing games, and singing karoke. It was always a lot of fun.

That night we found this on our bed.  Our bear towel.

And we got an ornament for our tree hanging on our door. That was the end of day 2. Night!
