Caymans 2nd Birthday!

We sure have had a lot of fun this last week. Cayman turned two on Tuesday, October 21st. We had a party for my side on Sunday and then a party for Cory's side on Tuesday. I can't believe how much Cayman has grown and changed in a year. She is so independent and full of energy and getting bigger everyday despite that she doesn't eat anything! She says so many more words now and understands pretty much everything we say to her. She can say a couple sentences and can put 2 words together to speak. She loves to learn new things and even though she is still getting bigger, she loves to cuddle with me all the time. In a way, I still have a little baby. But, she is getting big all too fast. It makes me sad when I think she will start preschool next year and that I want her to stay little forever. She has started saying "Mamamamama" just like when she was learning to say Mom and it brings back memories of her at 6 months old. It is pretty funny. She even sounds the same as the baby she was. I think she knows I think it is funny and she does it to make me laugh. So cute!
For her party on Sunday we had dinner and then I made an Oreo Icecream cake with little Curious George statues on it.

We had a Curious George theme and she had a lot of fun. We had party hats and blowers and Curious George Bubbles. She got lots of fun presents from everyone. This is what she got: From Grandpa and Cocoa Skidmore, a Barbie bike- Alli,Paul,Mel, Phil, Ryan, a Little Peoples castle with prince and princess, a Curious George DVD, Roller skates and a Curious George book. From mom and dad, Bubble bath, Curious George jammies,Puzzle and a Gift bag of Curious George stuff. From great-gandma Betty she got a Curious George Bag filled with hair bows, candy, play phone, and Dora box. She had a great time with the gifts.

On Tuesday I took Cayman swimming at the Rec center and she had a blast. We love to be in the water. It was fun. That night we had over the Cottrell Clan and had dinner and Cake and Icecream.

You guessed it...A Curious George Cake! How fitting for my little 2 year old. She loves him what can I say. We did the same theme for this day as well. We opened presents and from Cj and Jackie she got a Curious George boat for the tub, and a Curious George Color book. From Dallas, Candice, and Cohen she got pretend food and an apron and mitts. From Grandma she got a Monkey holding a blankie, a Curious George doll, Monkey Jammies and a couple of Curious George Books and a DVD. From Mom and Dad she got a play kitchen, bubble bath, 2 more pairs of Monkey jammies, blocks, pretend disney phone, Disney Tea Set, Snap and Style Doll and a Curious George Book.

I must say it was like Christmas at our house for her birthday. We went a little wild with the gifts. She is spoiled for sure! It was so much fun and I think she loved her new kitchen. I was so excited to get it for her and she has already been being a little cook. It is so cute.

I am sure glad her birthday went great and we want to say "Thank You" to all the family that came and supported our little angel on her big day! Thanks for the gifts and all the love you give her. We Love You!
