Moab 2010

We have had a few exciting things happen these last couple weeks. Cayman started her Talking Time class. It is every Tuesday at 1pm for an hour. There are 6 little kids in the class with her and we just go to six stations and do speech exercises. This is a picture of her 1st day at school. She was so excited. It is a good class and I am glad we get this chance to help Cayman so early before she starts kindergarten. Last week she got to take Valentines in for the other kids. It was really fun.
Cooper is just a cutie. Here are some little pics of him in his saucer that he absolutely loves and will play in it for quite a while. He also liked the trampoline the other day too!

Cooper is now 6 months old and at his check up the doctor said he wasn't even on the charts for weight. He was 14lbs 4 oz and she was concerned that he wasn't getting enough to eat. His reflux is really bad and he cries at almost every feeding. Night time is especially bad. We have been trying all sorts of medicine and now we are on Zantac with rice in his formula. I have to take him in next Monday for a weight check and from what I can tell, Cooper is eating alot better. I hope this is the solution. Poor little guy!
Cayman has ballet on Wednesdays and here are just a couple pictures of her in her class. She is one of the youngest kids and really just likes to interact with everyone and not so much listen to the teachers. It will be interesting to see her in the recital in May.

This past weekend we went to Moab with my 2 sisters and their hubby's.

We went to balanced rock and the window arches the first day and then later night Alli and Paul came and we went to dinner at Pizza Hut. My favorite pizza place to eat! Cooper did really good and I was a little worried because it was sure cold outside. I couldn't believe how much snow there was. We were going to hike Delicate Arch the next day and I was worried about going 3 miles in the snow with 2 kids. Luckily the next day brought nice weather and the sun was out in full force.
It was actually quite warm. Cory carried Cooper up to the arch and Melanee and Alli helped Cayman, since I don't exist when her aunts are around. She sure loves them so much. Cory was standing with Cooper on the top of this rock on the way up and this group of Chinese people were taking as many pictures of him and the baby that they could. They just followed Cory with their cameras every step he took. I was pretty funny. We got up to Delicate arch and got pictures and then I fed Cooper a bottle and he was just so happy to be out and about.

He wore a cute little bear suit and was just so content. Once up there, people were making comments again about Cooper and I guess they couldn't believe we would take a little baby on this hike. He did really good and that's what matters. Cayman was pretty whiny the whole time and on the way back Melanee pretty much carried her on her shoulders. She is one tough chic! Phil carried Cooper because Cory's shoulder was hurting pretty bad and there was no way I could do it in the snow and going down. I was worried about falling. Cooper fell asleep in the pack and on the way out, it was now Phil's turn to get pictures taken of him and the baby. A group of people thought it was so cute and started taking pics. Crazy huh? Thanks Phil! We decided to go eat after that big hike and Cayman was not looking very good. She was almost falling asleep in the restaurant and I felt her head it was really hot. Mel held her and she did fall asleep and then after we ate we went back to the hotel and I gave her some tylenol. Cayman fell right to sleep on the bed and I stayed in the hotel with the kids and we took naps. Cory, Mel and Phil went back to hiking and Alli and Paul went back and rested. Cayman woke up feeling much better and then we met for dinner, called it a night and went to bed. The next morning we went to slick rock just our family and Cory and Cayman went and climbed on rocks.
We then met for breakfast and left for home. We stopped at IN and OUT in Draper for lunch and then said our goodbyes to everyone. We had a really fun time and hope we didn't get anyone sick. We had fun and it was good to see everyone!
