Wheeler Farm, Race for the Cure, and Lagoon!

We have been doing quite a bit this last couple weeks. We had Grandpa Jenns and Cocoa come for dinner on Sunday with Alli and Paul. We had fun hanging out and talking. Here is Cooper with Gramps! The kids can be funny and here are some silly pictures. Cooper likes this new toy a lot! And they love popcorn!!
Cayman got to bring home a little monkey named Mario from school this last week. Mario got to go everywhere we went so if you see a monkey in these pictures that is him. At the end of the week, Cayman got to write all the fun things she did with her friend Mario.
Cayman had a field trip to Wheeler Farm. We were lucky and the day was so nice. We got to go on a wagon ride around the farm

and we saw lots of animals.

We watched a blacksmith make a little spoon with hot metal. Cooper loved seeing all the animals. I think Cayman just liked playing with her friends. We saw a bunny, goats, cows, horses, pigs and ducks. We got to see where they milk the cows. That was a pretty stinky room! Cooper loved chasing the ducks. He just kept trying to get close to them.

They had fun playing in this old wagon that was there. They could have played for hours. After that we went to Mcdonalds with some friends and had lunch. We had a fun time.
That weekend we ran in Race for the Cure. My sister Mel and hubby Phil came to run also. We met at Alli and Pauls and had pizza and then we made our running shirts. We did pink for the girls and white for the guys. We made a couple mistakes and had to go to the store for more stuff but they ended up pretty good. For a running shirt with our team name, it was great. We decided on Team Boobapalooza. We ran for my mom Debi and her mom Betty Rose or Grandma Mead. Cooper stayed home with Grandma Connie but next year he will come with us. Cayman walked with us on Saturday and she walked the whole mile by herself. We all had good intentions of running the 5k, but settled for walking the 1 mile. Mel and Phil did the 5k and we met them at the finish line. It was fun to run/walk for my mom. I even got to do a shout out over the microphone and yell for my mom, Debi. It was awesome. Everyone could hear we were doing this for her. I always tear up at the starting line and once they say go...I start crying. It is very emotional and very special to me. I will do the 5k next year. Even if I have to walk it!!

Afterwards, we went to Kneaders bakery for breakfast and they were giving out free French toast to all the moms!! Score!! It was the best french toast ever. Yummy!!!
That afternoon we decided to do Lagoon!! Its what fun is! The day was very nice and warm and perfect weather. Cooper was very nonchalant on the rides and even though he isn't smiling in most of these pictures he loved them and asked to go back after every ride.

When he couldn't do the ones that were too big, he sure cried, screamed, and threw a tantrum. He got so upset when Cayman could ride a ride with daddy but he couldn't. It was pretty sad. Poor little man. Cayman had a blast on all the big rides and she loves to go fast and spin.

I love this picture of them. Paul is busting a gut in the seat behind, and it is so funny. Cayman was laughing and squealing the whole time! We had a good little lunch and rode more rides. Phil and Paul kept winning stuffed animals at the games so Cooper got a penguin and Cayman got this duck. It was a fun weekend.
Mothers day we woke up and I was able to stay in bed for a little longer while Cory, Cayman and Cooper made me breakfast. I got Chocolate chip cookies, Froot loop cereal, toast and o.j. They brought it up to me and I ate it on the couch upstairs. The kids took my cookies. But that's okay! We went to church and Cayman sang in sacrament. After that we had dinner at Connies. Everyone came and we had fun eating too much food and visiting. We took a couple pictures of the moms and then one of Grandma with the grand kids. It was a great day. We had a lot of fun and look forward to more to come with the nice weather we should be having.
