ChristmasTime

We started off the week by making goodies to take to neighbors and friends. We made over 30 plates of treats which included Banana Bread, Applesauce cookies, Fudge, Gingerbread cookies, and chocolate pretzels. Yummy! We also attempted to make a Ginger bread house and train. They turned out pretty cute.

The next day we went to the Vincent's Christmas party that is held every year on the 23rd of December. This is Cory's grandparents and there are usually around 70 people.
3Generations, Cooper, Cory and Grandpa Vincent. Cj is in the back.
It is a fun get together and we do white elephant exchange. This year there were a few ugly sweaters that people got. It was a fun night and the kids had fun playing with their extended cousins. We also got to see Santa, who is Cory's grandpa. The kids both got to sit on his lap and we got pics.

The next day was Christmas Eve! I was so excited for Santa to come! I could hardly wait! We had a dinner at Connie's that we do every year and then the kids open Christmas gifts. We had a little story and then we did presents. Grandma got Cayman a very cute outfit and a Jasmine doll set, Cooper got a very cute sweater and shirt and Noahs ark Little people set. From Cohen, Cayman got a 50 piece Cinderella magnetic doll set! She loves it. From Kenz, Cooper got a race track with 2 cars. He was very entertained! Connie got us a new stroller because ours broke in Florida. We had a very fun night. Cooper kept wanting the bows put on his head and he would smile really big once they were sticking. What a funny guy. Jackie put a bow on her present too! We came home, made cookies and put out milk for Santa. Then we put the kids to bed and we waited to help Santa. Cayman was very excited to sleep in our room that night. Cory and I had to use her room that night to help Santa set up for one of her presents in the morning. A Bed! That is what she wanted. Here is her Santa stash!
Here is Coopers Santa Stash.
I think they were both a little spoiled this year.
Of all the mornings for our kids to get up early, they chose to sleep in on Christmas morning. At 8 am, we woke them up. I was so excited to see their faces. We came down stairs and Cooper almost jumped out of my arms to run to his stuff. Cayman just sat on the chair and didn't say anything. She noticed Santa ate the cookies and then she just pouted. I kept asking her if Santa didn't bring her what she wanted and she never would say anything. Finally, I said maybe her bed was in her room? She wanted to me to go check for her and I said she had to go with us. She was much happier once she saw she did get what she asked for. A big girl bed! We had lots of fun in the morning playing with everything

Later that morning Connie came over and we had breakfast.
After that, we just played some more and then my dad and Carma came over and we visited with them for a little bit. We played our new game Toy Story mania for the wii and that was fun.
We had a really good day yesterday and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. I love Chrismas and the meaning of it. I can't wait until the kids get a little bit older to understand the true meaning and not just the Santa part. We are very blessed and hope that this new year will bring in lots more fun and family times! Merry Christmas!
